I will miss the famous MATT NASH PARRY, tbh.I would like to hear that we are chasing John Crawley.
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Is it because hes really cheap? How Nash got a contract as a Goalkeeping coach is beyond me.
Crawley is the reason Redmayne has dramatically improved at SFC, on the other hand, Janjetovic not working with Crawley has meant he's gone from competent to horrible.I would like to hear that we are chasing John Crawley.
Tragic to say, he’d have to be mad. But it’s the right ambition for the club imo.Goal.com reporting we are chasing Roy Krishna for next season
Pain fits wherever you were thinking of putting Oar ahead of him. Oar has been trash and he is probably earning decent coin.
I’d supplement a quality starting 11, with one extra quality defender, 1 defensive mid, 1 attacking mid and 1 forward for cover. The other 8 players all youth.
These guys coming off contract I would consider (only Tom as as visa player) - Rowles, Aspropotamitis, Hiariej, O'Neill, Nisbet, Pain, Kekeris & Murray. Gauci is still on contract as a scholarship player.
Rowles can be a second choice CB, Aspro is probably good enough (with fitness) to be a first choice CB, Tom H as a first choice CM, Nisbet as a second choice CM, Murray as a second choice striker. I would keep O'Neill. Kekeris hasn't had a chance to show anything. I would like to keep Pain but if we are looking at improving the quality of the first XI and we already have Oar signed where does he fit?
Van Strattan was our keeper until injury - we then played a green Maty Ryan who never let him back in and the rest is historyWe had Van Stratton between the sticks around the Perez era then his leg fell off at a game v City, but yeah,I see your point Pirate...anyone is better than that Scummer spy Nash
If we are going to have a marquee we need a real one - not an one that is an accounting exercise. Our image is that badly damaged the only way we’d get Krishna is on marquee wages.
I know what you meant. I was just making a point that if you are going to re-sign Pain, you put him on instead of Oar because Oar hasn't shown he deserves to be on the pitch so far.Re-read the post. It was in response to FP saying
The essential theory that had been proposed was that we have a core of higher quality players and fill the rest with youth. I was fitting in the players already signed for next season - which Oar is and Pain isn't. I then considered the ones coming off contract and said
As others have pointed out Pain can also play RM/RW and I would hope he is re-signed.
TBH I think that a fit Aspro, a fit Oar, Tom, Pain and Aiden would be the only ones to challenge for a first XI at most clubs.
How Nash got a contract as a Goalkeeping coach is beyond me.

Nix will be gone soon so he would actually be smart to sign up now.............just dont let him take any penalties.
You beat me to it.Hiariej Krishna, Hiariej Krishna
The people who frequent this board are among the club's most dedicated fans, IMO - rumours like this can be added to the memory bank of people already upset or angry with the club and whether they're true or not, grow that anger. In this case, unnecessarily. JMO.
It's evident in the fact one or two people have suggested it did actually happen but was fixed up, rather than the fact it didn't and the information wasn't reliable in this instance.
As I said, I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater but this, IMO, never should've made it into the public domain as a rumour.
If we are going to have a marquee we need a real one - not an one that is an accounting exercise.
DDS doesn't qualify, but we can't have his large salary sucking money out of our cap either
