ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Eugene Galekovic, the current Melbourne City goalkeeper, was apparently spotted sitting with the Mariners CEO at the Adelaide United game.
I'm sure if this was true it would have been mentioned before now. Wouldn't be a bad signing though.
Replacement for Nash.
Impossible to be worse than Nash. Any change in gk department is a welcome one

If legit could be final year as keeper before moving into the keeper coach role

However he has beat out Biragetti this year at City so why would he leave

Berisha's just put up on his Instagram that he's now an Australian citizen. Reckon he's still got it and worth a shot?

No interviews with Tommy H all season, now three in as many days posted on social media. Could this be signs the club has a re-signing announcement imminent? (Optimistic reactions only).
maybe the club got the hint half the members were gunna walk if he wasn't resigned .

Lets hope so. Mulvey (and maybe Monty) was poison for Tommy H and his bullshit was being believed by Shaun and Pikey....and therefore Phelan.
The hatchet job was even being believed by some of the supporters, which is scary.

We can only hope so! The commitment he has shown after such a bleak period for the club is truly remarkable and absolutely deserves to be rewarded (not to mention his obvious talent as a footballer).

The interview was awesome. So happy we have a bloke who will wear the jersey with pride rain, hail or shine. Fingers crossed we will see him in yellow for years to come.

Came here to only talk about this.

The bloke is the happiest footballer you’ll see even after all this shit. The club should’ve been slapping his face on everything all season. Cult hero.
Praying he’s locked in for a couple more years.

Nah he was on the slide his last season at MV. Competitive bugger who would score a couple of scappy goals but on the downhill slide imo

I agree he was off the pace and not his best last MV season but if the price is ok he could be a good pickup and help with Murray’s development too. Paying too much would be foolish but at the right price he would should people we’re serious about scoring more goals and signing decent players for the season. Hard to see him being able to slot back in to Victory or going to Sydney, one of the mid table or lower clubs seems more likely to offer a start.

The good thing about Berisha is that he can make a lot of his own service.

Controversially, I think Berisha has the hallmarks of another McCormack-style signing... He was not nearly as impressive in his last season with Victory as in the past... He scored 14 goals that season, out of 28 games, but then, 2 were on pens, 2 were in one game against Roar and 3 were in one game against us - that makes for 7 from open play in 26 games - on a rough estimate, removing the two games where he scored more than one, he's averaging an open-play-goal every 322 minutes it's about 20 minutes better than Pain and 30 minutes worse than Hoole at this point, for this season.
On top of it he's a dickhead and would not be any better being 'our dickhead' and he's become prone to falling-over-antics too in his last couple of A-league seasons... Keep him the hell away from this club please...

Apparently he is a nice guy off the pitch.

It's hard to imagine, but a few players are like that...
