Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. East Gosford Over 35 D grade!
We finished last in 2006 and third from bottom in 2007.
We're on the way up! Especially if we can recruit some more young whippersnapper 35 year olds.

Registered myself and the two eldest sons in O35s, U7's & U5's today. Very little change out of $500. I have been told that there is a cap for kiddies so I won't have to pay any more when the other two children start playing but it still feels very expensive. I would love to know where all the fees go. I am assuming club, CCF & FFA but would like to know the allocation and how much they have in their respective coffers.

Do they publish financials on the web? I have got no idea how much it costs to run the joint so 500K might be reasonable. I know our local club keeps around 20K in their bank account and apart from all the politics the committee do a wonderful job and I think it is well run.
I am assuming when the A-League really takes off and the FFA can negotiate better TV deals/sponsorship etc. money will start flowing back to grass roots (I am talking about my kiddies not a neverwozza like me) not the other way around.

I'm signing up today with my sister and her friend at West Pennant Hills-Cherrybrook soccer club... Price isn't too bad considering I am a student... $190... $230 if I wasn't....
Should be interesting as I haven't played outdoor since i was in yr 8 (1996) but hey I'll give it a try..

I think most Gladesville-Hornsby FA clubs have CCMFC linked on their sites as part of being feeder associations. Just wear Mariners T to training and see who puts their head up!
