ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So ,let me get this straight, Okon played Lachie on his wrong side because that what must be done instead of swapping Wales and Kwabi over, so the kid had optimal control on his crosses....I repeat STUBBORN FKN ARSEHAT

Huh? Appiah is a right wing as well - no sure what swapping them was going to do... Someone had to play over there, so probably made sense not to break up two FB/W partnerships, over taking only one apart.

What do we have for the future? As I see it.

Kennedy - starter, keep.
Golec - starter, keep.
Baro - starter, keep
Wout - starter, keep
Tommy - starter, keep
Powell - possible starter, keep
DDS - starter, keep

The rest, 2 or 3 possible up and comers, 2 or 3 bench players, the rest not good enough or past it.

I'd add McGing to our starters, too early to be sure yet but maybe also Rowles. Melling I like, but the dutchies if fit will keep him on the bench. But at least we now have an adequate sub or replacement for them. I'd also keep Hoole for Right wing. He has the technique to succeed just needs better smarts and decision making Everything else is bang on.

Yes McGing - possible starter the others I had in mind were:
Melling - bench
Rose L. - bench
Appiah - bench
Paine - Bench
Rowles - up and coming
Wales - up and coming
Buhagier - up and coming

Forget the rest.

I think that is a total of 15 with my original list:
So we need 4 more starters and a back up keeper. Total 20. Save the money on the other 3 spots to make sure the 4 new ones are worthwhile.

Wales should have set piece duty going forward, good service and will only improve with experience. I'm very impressed with him.

Asdrubal is getting on the nose fast. Must lift big time.

Did you watch Trent in his start last night Wombat? Had a 1 on 1 and f**ked it worse than Asdrubal. He is not the answer but I'm willing to give him a shot.

I did not see any of the game. I did see him set up Blackwood expertly in the previous game. I think the boy will have a bright future.

I’m not sure what coin Appiah is on, but if it’s more than our youngsters. We just can’t afford attacking mids who can’t cross or score despite theirother great attributes.

L Rose, I think is better off moving on at this stage. Everyone else agree.

Liam Rose is capable of being a very good player, sadly I don't think we will be the club where he becomes that player.
