Liam rose definite keeper imo. Showed more than Kalik and is in the young Socceroos setup. Will be ready to take over from monty in 2-3 years. Don't forget how young he is.

I have a feeling Nash is here to take over from Crawley

Major - cut ( maybe not his fault always played out of position, given the duke treatment)

Cernak - 1st 2nd sub. His energy can change a game

Otherwise pretty much agree.

One thing I would like to see next season is an aerial threat. Patty, Griffiths, Simon and McBreen have all offered something both from set pieces and open play in the past. This season we send in a free kick or corner and I expect us to lose the ball. Bosnar and Anderson are probably our only tallish players and they don't have a great record of either getting a head on the ball or getting it on target.

apologise for abusing someone
Pardon, show me where I have abused you. Cite it please.

I'll wait for some sort of civil response from you and if I don't receive it then I'll consign you and your substance fuelled posts to the bin where they probably should have been earlier.

Yes, quite unnecessary. I've always been reluctant to use the bin button because groups like this thrive on diverse opinions etc. But I'm a bit fed up with "Eats, Roots, Shoots and Leaves" and it's time to BRB him ( " K. Hunt indeed" !). (BRB is not "be right back", I use it as an older term than that, it's the "Big Red (off) Button", used when Windows had plenty of the BSOD's, and before that too.)

Go you Yellow. You can do it today. :shoutclap:

Taking this with a *huge* grain of salt. NT plays at most 12 games a year (outside of tournaments). Not sure there'd be a full-time gig there.

My reading of the tea leafs is we have 10 quality players other sides would want add a decent striker and centre back plus reasonable subs and we will be very competitive next year..

My current squad to build around..

Mids:- Caceras., Fab, Kallic, Monty and Liam Rose...

Backs:- Poscoliero, Rose, Storm and Michael Neil

Goals:- Reddy

With a bit more confidence Fitzy could make that list too as well as Cernak with more game time. I'm also not completely given up on Ando after Saturday. 2 quality strikers and one quality CB and we are looking competitive. Will be interesting to see what happens with the LB position.....Micky Neill is a huge talent, but Rosey will not go quietly. Can we fit them both in somewhere?

I would tend to agree on most of this... Hasn't Ando given up on us though? There was that article last week saying that he was looking to move elsewhere.

I think Micky Neill and Rosie is a perfect situation for us actually. Provides cover from players that are both good quality. Not only that, but Rosie has also done reasonably as a CB earlier this season, so he gives a little bit of extra cover and comfort in a position where we've been struggling a bit lately.
A little bit similar to what Poscoliero provides on he other side, just in reverse.
The full-backs is where I feel by far the most comfortable for us... Indeed I think we look well past acceptable going into excellent in those roles.
If we can find a couple of good, stable CBs, we might go a long way towards creating a defence to almost rival the one that we've missed to badly the last couple of seasons with the added strength of being able to cater for horrible situations like this season where, at times, we've been without at least two of our first-choice defenders.

Yeah, we want them to be 6'8" at least and be able to run like a whippet. ;)

I'm CLOSE to 6'8" and I can run like a whippet... A VERY old FAT whippet... Probably with arthritis... And a full belly... And perhaps a leg missing... But a whippet none-the-less...

Oh and I also have ball-control to rival Bambi's ice-skating abilities! ;)

Rosey, who was originally a striker, could push Fitzy for the LW position.

Rose *has* been one of our most consistent goal threats, and his finish on Saturday night couldn't have been any cooler if it were in cryogenic storage.

I was thinking along the same lines. If fit, can see Micky Neill making the LB position his own next season. Would love to see Rosey have a crack at LW. Will create a fair bit of competition for places as well.
