ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

To me Kubi seems to work very hard in both attack and defence and causes opponents some real head aches with his pace and physicality, unfortunately his finish amd final ball are not of sufficient quality.

Love to see him change that.

*Edit: probably should also say when I’ve been going on about lacking players with intelligence in the final third. He’s one of the main three I’m thinking of.

Heh... So you're saying that out of the three players technically in the final third, he's one of them? ;)

In all seriousness though - I understand the frustration with him and he definitely could use some work, but I would be curious to see what would happen if we could somehow make Hoole pass the bl**dy ball at least a couple of times... I can think of twice, at this point, that Kubi looked through on a clear goal, last weekend, screaming for the ball from Hoole, with Hoole opting to run straight into three defenders in stead of playing it.
Another goal or two might work wonders for his targeting...

Got a pass for tonight so I'll be heading up.

This weather doesn't help, and the scheduling is another masterstroke by the FFA in a season that's been full of them...but if the travelling YA repeat their efforts from the last time here and the team on-field maintain pressure on a good Jest team, I'll consider tonight a success.

Champness has been called in as a replacement for Satirio for the under 23’s. Says due tomorrow.

Wonder if he plays tonight and travel tomorrow or is out for tonight which would be fair

Update it’s after the game

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Well, I thought Victory would slam us, so what do I know?, I’d happily take another point during the schedule los debacle
Plus if the boys ain’t keen as mustard to square up for round one then they need hanging up the boots
Here’s to Powelly and Lachie Wales furthering their status as the best new toys ever

Lineup in, no Jnr rose. He was an unused sub on Friday, and not even on the bench tonight, with Melling there instead, after playing Saturday night.

Does this smell fishy???

Disappointed with what's been happening in regards to Liam Rose, obviously there are things I don't know about the situation so take it with a pinch of salt but if it is simply Paolo preferring Melling over him it is disappointing. We ask for loyalty from players and Liam Rose has had many chances to leave for probably better money, when someone shows loyalty like he has we should really at least return the favour and show faith in him.

I think that all the hype a couple of years ago went to Liam’s head. Same with Buhagiar last season. Look at how much McGing improved, that shows hard work and willingness in training. Young players who don’t improve at all over whole seasons I think it shows a real lack of effort and contentment with status quo.

Hoping for a big game from Rosey. Every other side has torn him up this year and expect they will target him. Conversely he still offers a decent amount in attack.

Did Shaun mention the cost on here, or was it commented on at one of the fans forums?
I can't remember but cost was definitely a factor. I'm surprised they're still doing it.

COME ON YOU MARINERS
