Yep Roar, Wanderers and City look like top 3.

Yes to Roar and WSW but City have scored 23 of their 27 goals against bottom 4 teams and only 4 goals in 4 games against top 6 teams.

2 points from 12 against top 6 teams. 15 points from 18 against bottom 4 teams.

And werent they missing Mooy on Socceroo's duty for some of those games against the top 6 teams? That may balance those stats out a bit

From Foxsports:

Ferreira Return:

Central Coast coach Tony Walmsley is holding up Fabio Ferreira as a beacon of hope as his last placed A-League side prepare to "hurt " in-form Brisbane.

The Portuguese winger ia a late squad inclusion and tipped to start on the bench when the Mariners host the Roar on Sunday, in what would be his first appearance since straining his hamstring during last month's draw with Wellington.

But Walmsley said the 26yo is fired up & ready to go.

"You can tell Fab is ready. He's louder, he's happier, " he said

"I thought we were probably another week away, but he trained on Thursday & again on Friday and he's moving exceptionally well. "

Ferreira was pivotal in the Mariners only win this season, netting two penalties and having a hand in the third in their opening-round 3-2 pipping of Perth.

He has been sorely missed recently, with Walmsey's vaunted attack shuddering to 9 winless matches including 4 straight losses and a league-high 23 goals conceded to land 4 points adrift at the table's bottom.

Sole striker Roy O'Donovan could certainly do with a hand, especially given the Roar are far from short in the attacking department.

The odds are heavily in the favour of John Aloisi's outfit, not to mention reports this week that several Mariners players are agitating for a release due to unpaid superannuation.

Young gun Brandon Borrello did a double job on them in Brisbane in the Rnd2 2-1 loss.

But Walmsley tipped his team to deal out what they themselves have copped incessantly.

"Their attack-minded nature gives us opportunities as we have given opportunities to others, " he said.

"If they're going to be bold and push people on and leave themselves exposed at the back, then we know we've got the attacking weapons to hurt them.

Roux playing higher up the park apparently! I can see Fitzy in the centre, Roux on the right, sub with Fab later?

Posco doing everything he can to give the ball to Bris. Seems like a new side to his game recently!

We looked preeeetty shit for a long while there. Couldn't pass, just panicking and kicking forward. Got better towards he end, but we look well below their standard. Seems like the bluster and excitement of entertaining football is taking a back seat, and we're just lumping it forward to Austin/Roy whenever we can. Still, defending better. Few chances, might have had a pen and Steffanuto could have been sent off.

Keep it up and we might just draw! Yay!

Yeah posc at RB looked rusty there. Funny that. Brave lineup by TW.

Broich Mckay and the delivery of their brasilian playmaker whatever his name is has been killing us down the left. But we're fortunately nowhere near ss exposed through the middle atleast. And for the nost part hustling well enough. Bris are a very good side.

So apart fron that we look a deal more in this match than the last time we played them - but have to stop squandering possession and consistently put ball to feet or only a matter of time and we'll be punished.

Oh, and Beath is still incompetent.

Hoping our youth plays dividends second half as brooch theor playmaker, henrique and Mckay will all tire quicker.

McClaren looks very sharp though.

We're holding them but toothless in attack - mainly that final pass (or two). Hope Fab can make that difference

That was always how that game was going to go.

Taking it's toll on the crowd now too. I know it is hot but 5100 is definitely not a good sign.

Fab showed his class.

I disagree with that . they got a good/lucky goal because they have midfielders . where everyone can score.
we deserve better , but we lack finish in the midfield .
beath cruelled a penalty , a red card for corona . I couldn't tell why the goal was disallowed
other than it wasn't for the roar .
