ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Why does Hoole always do this? Has an absolute shocker then every once in a while comes up with a goal like that. Weird player

Hooley has already lost possession twice and broken down attacks due holding onto the ball too log and trying to skin his man... One more and his goal is cancelled out for me, you're here to support the team Andrew, not score worldies and skin players to make yourself feel better.

VAR had no choice there, carbon copy of what happened to us against the Jets so needed to be consistent, I wasn't worried.

We're playing reasonable well. Certainly still some issues with connecting up front, but we deserve the lead.
Not so long ago we heard that MM realised what's actually on his hands - could it be that things he changed as a result are actually coming to fruition and becoming effective?

Those red cards were probably the low point of the season. We've come a long way in a short space of time.

Where rushing balls out of defense hoofing back and losing possession putting ourselves under pressure more composure needed and belief play the way where facing

It was wasn't like what happened against the Jets IMO
The difference is the deflection. Arm is in a natural position and deflected into him at pace from 2-3 yards away? No way that.
The Jets one, arm was in a natural position, but that doesn't necessarily mean no foul. There was no deflection - he just misjudged the ball that was coming in. Which is why it should have been a penalty.

The one we got away with this game, it's the sort of thing where you know a lot of referees would incorrectly give it at parks level, either mistakenly thinking 'benefit = handball' or just because at James Brown Oval on a Saturday afternoon, all 22 O/35 players (well, 19....because one team had 2 players not turn up and the other team has already had one sent off) probably expect it, so some refs give easy decisions rather than correct ones
