ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

When your dealing with a governing body that is totally different than due dilligence on a " bakers delight" franchise for example.

In fairness, the counter arguement to your point is that Tinkler has fried much bigger fish than a Bakers Delight franchise. His net worth indicates that he has dealt with organisations and government bodies that were the equal, probably greater, than the FFA. I dare say the dealing with a Government body is more difficult than dealing with the FFA.

Nice one Nathan. Here's a tip; if you don't know what you're on about, just STFU. I'm getting sick of you.

You made a statement, I asked you to explain, so you put up a load of questions.

If you can't back up your bullshit comments then don't bother making them in the first place.

Cant you go away and find your own info. I dont have to back anything up to you. The FFA is the GOVERNING body it recieves grants from the Government. Clubs, parents, players are required to adhere to a code of conduct as is the FFA. The FFA has to act in the best interest of the game not for the betterment of FFA cashflow. Football NSw have fees so does the CCF, but the FFA as the governing body of the A-League failed to act in accordance with their principles and every player that pays rego should be disgusted. The shit will hit the fan after the Grand Final. The FFA have guidelines, they set them. You are talking about the fabric of our game, the FFA has failed to adhere to its own duty to its members. The FFA model the botton feeds the top, the "rich and greedy miners" hope to change that.

So no club should be required under the FFA' s "commitment to the game" to do due dilligence. If we all did due dilligence not one of us would be registered. The FFA has tried to negotiate over the excessive fee charged, they know they are in trouble!

Football NSW have abandoned there planned expansion at Riverstone and in part this was brought about through pressure from Associations over "non-disclosed capitation fees". These fees were charged to each registered player in NSW to fund FNSW which like the FFA is not part of the constitution. Look it up have a read, the FFA involved in that as well. So is our favourite property developer.

As a player or a club you pay your fees in good faith that the CCF,FNSW and FFA, will act in accordance with their constitution or mandate.

Adelaide United CEO who is a corporate lawyer was quoted during the week as saying from his knowledge of the contracts that Tinkler does not have a leg to stand on and he did the same paperwork two months after Tinkler.

That is interesting I did not see his comment. Was that before or after he guaranteed he would support Palmer and Tinkler?

Read Ray's last line. Next week more clubs are going to fall away. They cannot survive with the FFA model, they have to support Palmer and Tinkler and force the FFA to change.

It is a good interview with a heap of topics covered. Tony's 6 point plan is interesting,he is confident that the FFA will willing to change. Other people are not so confident they will. He stated in the first 5 minutes that the changes are the caveat to him going forward with the funding of Perth. This is all going to come down to $$$, are the FFA willing to relinquish control, partnerships and cash? We all hope so!
All I was told is that Sage has a few points that are key to him staying with Perth and the FFA WILL NOT MOVE on them thus forcing Sage to hand back the licence. However a week is a long time in Football...

and that poster on FFT clearly is unaware that the exclusive commercial sponsorships were already rolled over, so there is no extra funds coming in from that area either.

Seems that the FFA are hellbent on putting all their eggs in the next TV deal covering their asses because of the footprint in WS but with a mooted $1billion+ deal looming for the NRL how much will FoxSports seriously want to pay for the HAL and Socceroos? The only other commercial network who would show the HAL would be TEN and they are broke. Dont even mention SBS as that isnt a serious option - they wanted FFA to pay THEM to screen the games ffs
If the commercial agreements have already rolled over would they remain exclusive? That is one point in Tony's plan that cannot be met.
