There are quite a few players and coaches that perhaps need to bear that in mind.......

Football outside Oz and particularly in Europe is a sausage factory, it chews a lot of people up and spits them out again.

I like it. You'd have to think he'd be an option. IF there isn't discussions with either investors/buyers or coaching contract stopping all things player.
Then again, sign him for the rest of the season with an option to extend...can't hurt

He looks half decent and can head the ball which is a novelty for a Mariners striker.

From memory (which at my age isn't always that reliable) Matty wasn't too bad with his head.

McBreen was great. Matty was ok but he still missed some sitters. I thought Roy can actually head well, but just doesn’t get onto that many given his size and doesn’t have a huge vertical leap or anything.

But we really haven’t scored many headed goals since Danny I think. And that goes across the whole forward line and not just our striker.
