Macca's goal would light up any game, just sublime. He knew it too!!
Still not sure what the red card was for as not getting out of the way of a free kick isnt a yellow card offence anymore (I thought) - maybe he said something (although he was on a yellow)
Ref wasnt great, CCU had a pen not given and the 1st look suspiciously offside.
Oh well, at least 1 coast club isnt completely ballsing up its chance to get promoted.

Ref favoured us a bit although the free kick on the edge of the box looked a definate penalty.

Re the send off..." when a free kick is taken, an opponent is closer to the ball than the required distance, the kick is retaken unless the advantage can be applied; but if a player takes a free kick quickly and an opponent who is less than 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball intercepts it, the referee allows play to continue. However, an opponent who deliberately prevents a free kick being taken quickly must be cautioned for delaying the restart of play."

Very smart of McFarlane to kick it against him.

So - if CCU and Bankstown end up on the same points (as they are now) what is the tiebreaker?

Yeah. The Coach wasn't massive...at least it wouldn't have been crowded.

Being serious though....it must be hard to get quality players in small regional towns.

It might go back to the Amateurs/Federation days.
Wagga were part of the splinter group that tipped the balance of power thus bringing the two together to form SoccerNSW

CCU 20's ends 3-3 after extra time and we go onto win the shootout 4-3! Get in. First grade on now live streamed on the CCU FB. Get around it.
