Growing up in the hills district I couldn’t loose.
Nice run, they should be proud of their efforts
We did well, scored the first goal after 8 minutes and controlled part of the 1st half but Hills got back into late in the 1st half. 2nd half, CCU started well but just couldn't find the back of the net with Woodbine missing 2 great chances from 1 on 1's. Hills showed why they were 2 divs above with 2 late goals to win it. Overall, a great effort from a state league side who looked more than comfortable handling an NPL2 side.
I think they would give CCMA a real game - just need to concentrate on winning the club championship and going up to NSWPL3 for next season.
At home on Saturday,
1st Grade: 4pm
Beer tent is usually open and there is a real buzz about the place, well worth jumping on the bandwagon
4-0 to United v Bankstown at Pluim 60 ins
United 4 - Bankstown 1.[they jagged one late]
Any idea on the lower grades?
20's drew 2-2. Firsts won 4-1. Not sure on 18's. Firsts were dominant from first to last. Great way to bounce back from midweek.
In good news, UNSW got beaten in all 3 grades away to Nepean tonight.
By my calculations, puts CCU 16 points ahead in club championship.
18s had a 3-2 win
Club Championship after 9 of 22 rounds
CCU FC 156
UNSW FC 139
Nepean FC 139
Bankstown United 112
17 points. Cheering
Wagga away game today.
18s: Wagga 2 - 2 CCU
20s: Wagga 1 - 4 CCU
1sts: Wagga 1 - 8 CCU
Who was playing at Pluim. 2.0 up v Hills when I drove past??
That would be CCMA
MA ...meaning what?
Central Coast Mariners Academy
CCU won 4-0 in 1sts and 3-0 in 20's today at a (very) wet and windy Pluim.
Beer reduced to $3 a tin too - good times
What were the results this week against Nepean?
First game we were 2.0 up when i went past.
Came back and we were 1.0 down in the 2nd game.
Sunday they were 4.0 up against Blacktown (ladies i presumed)
U18s 1 - 0 win
U20s 2 - 0 win
1st 2 -1 win
CCU are back at home at Pluim on 4pm Saturday.
