Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

We're so obviously tepid in attack, and yet we do nothing about it. Murray isn't a striker, Matty is 400 years old, Milan will score 1 more this season, no-one else looks likely. Where the f**k will we get goals?? It's disgusting how impotent we are. Absolute shambles.

Coach has to take responsibily for this one. Subs way too late and not the right team at the start. Couple awesome players had off days too..duric and miller looked tired.

Much as I'm not a fan of Simon lately he is in form and his leadership lifts the team.

Credit to matty again, he did make us more of a threat. But that was just another 90minutes screaming out for a qualified f**king striker. You cannot convince me that any senior striker on our books is the man going forward.
Chuck John roberts in and see what happens and keep bringing matty for a cameo till seasons end.
Tommy f**ked up majorly for the second goal, just as bad as Clisby tbh.
The 3rd was a genuinely good goal.
My boy DRD, would have been so happy for him to score.

throw the kids in now I reckon. And by that I mean Hatch at LB full time. Roberts up front for a chance and DRD a few starts.

I haven't seen hatch yet...seems to get.a good rap on here though. Has he played wirh Miller in the youth team? Sounds interesting....

Going to this one after all. Maybe my opinion is scarred by memories of that rubbish game just before Christmas 2017, but I can't shake the feeling we'll get dicked by the officials in some big calls on this one. Stuff like clearly red-card worthy tackles from WSW players getting a blind eye, or having Birra soundly save 3 consecutive WSW penalty attempts that the ref keeps demanding to be retaken because a CCM pinky toe apparently encroached the box, only for the 4th attempt to be netted with WSW players encroaching by a metre and a half but nothing to see here.

Not especially looking forward to this game, would be excellent to see a solid CCM win put my mind at ease here...

Will you go halves with me in a lotto ticket?

100% down to Stajic.
Watches Clisby - still picks him.
Oar signs for someone else - keeps him as onfield captain when he has clearly checked out
Has access to stats - signs Jair.
6 games with no goals from open play.
Happy to see him leave TBH, think he is out of his depth

* Once again the other team gave us every chance to take advantage or work back into the game, and we left it too late.

* On the ladder - Every year the lower teams give us every chance to move up the ladder.
Teams around us loose or draw to keep us in contention, but somehow we manage to live up to our low expectations.

* WSW do have 5 pretty bloody good foreigners but most other teams do.
Even we kinda do, but no we are to far down and Kim & Duric don’t have the runs to work with.

* Another weekend down and another feeling of depressive negativity.

* Only good things Nizzy, Miller, Ruiz did pretty good against tired legs and looked for the ball and not afraid to get involved.
And Simon proving maybe he should have been more involved this season!

On the tracking I’ve been thinking about the formation after forum Phoenix brought it up this week. At least down our left where I’m sitting the narrow structure leaves the backs very exposed. Duric doesn’t have the motor to get wide on any kind of quick switch. Oar not in position to be able to defend from the front. Kim usually sitting central or in the back line. That leaves it going straight to Clisby to pickup while the others track back. If he’s outnumbered or beaten (it happens to anyone) it puts a bunch of pressure on covering.

So I was ready to defend Clisby with a structural issue but then that back pass so he can get in the bin. There’s a few too many without enough urgency but DDS and Nisbet are putting the work in.

Yeah paid close attention and had another discussion about the 4222 today with a very experienced coach. I don’t like it all. There’s space in attack and space in defence far too often. Maybe if we had a low turn over rate it would work, but as it is, I think it’s hurting more than it’s helping.

But Staj dragging Clisby at half time at least restored some faith.

After today I’d be fine with cleaning out all of our visa players over the off season. We’ve got some talented young players that need a quality core to fit around. Not good enough all round.

Has Simon been the best player today so far? Haha.

Nizzy and Miller are our most stable players!

And they should be the ones learning and growing around the experiences guys.

No Ziggy gets my mom. Rowles second.

It’s a crying shame to lose by that margin considering how well our two central defenders actually played.

Anyone who has rewarded CCM with a Membership this season is just enabling a retard management to continue making bad decisions. This squad is f**king shit!! It has been shit since day 1 & by all fairness should be in last place. The current management of CCM is f**king disgraceful & has no idea how to accurately judge a players skill level.

How is it, that after 5-6 years of incompetent rebuilding - we are still f**king terrible!!! Whilst a "FINANCIAL POWERHOUSE" club like f**king Wellington.... or f**king Brisbane can successfully rebuild & top 6 compete after just 1 bad season.

We had 0 impact (player loss) from the Olyroo's campaign & we have had close to 0 major injuries this season. In the January transfer window.... we waited until January 31st to release/recruit a player.. To me 5 seasons of shit results by default, means we should arguably be the most active in the transfer window - Yet we seem to be just happy releasing a shit parody meme video of some bullshit ad campaign that no one gives a shit about.

You can change the players, you can change the coach's - but whilst the retarded f**king management making stupid squad decisions persists we will still be hopeless for seasons to come.

Sorry to rant on my first post, but yeah, can anyone really blame me? Any CCM diehard responses are well appreciated :D

Simon was sharp. Nissy, Miller and Ruiz-Diaz deserve game time, happy there. Some good saves by the wsw keeper kept them in it.

I'm pretty over following this team now.

Last season was so close to breaking point it wasn't funny, and this season genuinely hasn't been much better.

I back Staj and still have hope for the future. But I'm wearing down now and am starting to become apathetic. Crowd numbers say I'm not alone.
