ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Also, pigs will be doing a coordinated flyover at half-time this weekend... Much the same as the screen replacement being done in November, and work almost being done on it in December, for it to be in place for NYE...

So - at this point, I'll believe anything coming from council, when I see them doing it... But good to know that they have some sort of target date.

It looks like it was written in a hurry with all the errors. I like to think that it was one lowly work graduate, desperately trying to loose information to the ratepayers, whilst all others tried and ultimately failed to wrestle the keyboard back and scream "nooo f**k them, leave them in the dark"

I like how they spelt his name "Micheal"
Maybe he wants to be called Micheal? That’s gotta be better than being called Roy O’Donovan eh? :headbounce:

Not sure how to feel about this game tbh $ity can blow hot or cold and I am hoping that the shake up in the starting lineup has a positive effect, providing Okon is brave enough to make the most of it by starting Asdrubal and Powell.:pirashoot:

Kuipers is playing youth so probably just squad cover for tomorrow but Kekeris is bot playing so would be a hope for the bench tomorrow

Kekeris is very exciting but quite small.
To put it into perspective TBTrent was far more dominant in the Youth games and he has struggled to make the jump.
Dont get your hopes up too high but he does have ALOT of potential.
Personally i love him to take Pain's spot atm.

Has better control than Trent though IMO. If Trent wasn’t fast he’d be very ordinary

Was thinking about this the other day. If he was just slightly slower I don’t think he would be playing any sort of rep football. HIs control is absolutely shocking. First touch is always way too hard, and his finishing leaves a lot to be desired.

Yeah, he missed a very decent chance against Syria in the U23’s game the other night, although he he did get an assist for the third goal. The club made a lot of noise about him being a local product and all that but his opportunities have been very limited due to Okon’s insistence in persisting with the likes of Pain and Appiah.

Make that two misses 1 on 1 with the keeper. The 2nd with unmarked Blackwood as an option for a simple tap in. It was selfish. However that’s a good quality in a striker usually.

His attitude to defend and and his lack of mongrel are why he is behind Appaih IMO
He really is scared of the big boys

Seeing as the club has disappointingly failed to help in promoting the fact that today is The OSC’s Pirate Day event, I would ask if anyone on here can help us raise awareness of this. We will have a junior pirate treasure hunt, and 100 board competition pre-game, plus a Pirate football game on the pitch at half time.

Given that the Mariners are supposed to be the Community Club, their lack of promotion of something like this that had been on their calendar from the start of the season is pretty underwhelming tbh, so any support that anyone on here can lend would be greatly appreciated.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
howling wind, cloudy sky, minimal wins...like the Coast need anymore excuses to stay away from the Fortress

As said previously, don't post the lineup publicly when it comes via SMS. Completely cheapens the point of the club doing it - it's a good member benefit and they won't bother with it if it's just going to be posted online instantly.
