ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

i preferred Ashcroft to mcging last year. I don't think we lose or gain much by switching them.

I think our bigger concern is LB. hoping we can dominate possession and not suffer too much attack.

How's posc travelling - pretty sure this is the third week it has said unavailable one week.

From memory Brice did say on the podcast that Ascroft was recovering better/faster than Posco, hopefully it is only a week now although McGong has seen since pretty significant significant improvement, I think.

I must admit that was my first way of thinking. However, both McGing and particularly Izzo have improved dramatically from last year. If Ascroft can step up and we can keep a clean sheet, sneak a win and move into the six it will do wonders for the confidence of the squad.

I listened to Paolo before the game and he was obviously not a fan of being in Canberra. I wonder how much of that vibe rubbed off on the squad. While not a home game, if the squad can't bounce back for a derby I don't know what motivation they need.

The street behind Broadmeadow Macca's is good. Failing that, the tennis centre further east. Both require a short walk across the cricket field. Both let you avoid the post-match traffic gridlock near the stadium car park.

so whats the best place to park ?

Last time we parked in a side street but the Bogans come out of their weatherboards to give you a spray as u walk past. Very amusing and when they have no teeth (most of them) they are pretty easy targets if you want to return serve.
