Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Central Coast Mariners coach Paul Okon has hinted at inserting livewire attacker Trent Buhagiar into his run-on side after Saturday's inept 2-0 A-League loss to Wellington Phoenix.

A flat Mariners outfit struggled to get into their adopted home game in Canberra, firing just two shots on target in a performance Okon labelled their worst of the opening six rounds.

Classy Krishna leads Wellington to win in Canberra
Roy Krishna has continued his stellar A-League form to inspire Wellington to a dominant 2-0 win over a flat Central Coast in Canberra.

"It was probably the worst performance so far this season, certainly that first half," Okon said.

"If it's one from six, you cop it on the chin and you move forward and you try to make sure it doesn't happen. But tonight wasn't the level we expect and it needs to be better next week."

While there is still plenty of time in the season for the Mariners to build momentum, Okon hinted at finding more than a 20-minute cameo for speed demon Buhagiar.

A replacement for veteran Fabio Ferreira at the 72nd-minute mark, the 18-year-old had a handful of decent touches as Central Coast threw caution to the wind late in the game.

"I thought Trent when he came on looked very exciting," Okon said.

"It's a good thing to have two players of that ability and certainly Trent's speed is a real weapon. Moving forward, there's real competition in that position."

His insertion could be the catalyst that Okon searches for to jumpstart a team that looked slow and lethargic against a depleted Phoenix team.

Their next match is the local derby against Newcastle Jets.

"When we did move the ball, when we executed what we work on and what we speak about before the game, I thought we looked dangerous," he said.

"It wasn't that often in the first half. A couple of times in the second half we had maybe one or two chances to sneak a goal, and that probably would've given us a different type of ending to the game, the last 10 minutes. But it wasn't to be."

Bucket hat boy is about 58-60kg. And while he clearly has mental issues, I would tip my daughter to better him in a stoush.

Inept and flat are good descriptions of that performance. A full refund to any poor bastard that travelled to that game should be forth coming from our visionary owner.

Ticketmaster say's that we are in bay's 10 & 11 as usual but @Coast Football Ramble is saying that we're bay 60 which was where we've been in the past & last season was the squadc***s bay but apparently they've moved to the next bay so I'm not sure.

We had been moved to bay 60, found out this afternoon that we've been moved back to bays 10 and 11, we will discuss this and the bus on todays episode.
