ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I thought the crowd seemed spot on. Disappointingly low but that really has be expected given the table position we found our self in after last week and given last season.

That said, it was a good crowd, they all wanted to be there for their team. It's funny that sometimes a low crowd means no atmosphere, sometimes it just makes it more personal.

Yeah be interested to hear the club fingures on Jets supporters. Be very surprised if it was over 500.

So 7.5k for us while we're spooning, 5pm on a Sunday again, after the 3 years we've been handed, is pretty damn decent I think.

Theory on our strong tv ratings... maybe Sunday's at 5 is shit for home team fans but suits the viewing habits of a lot of neutrals.

Dropped off fairly heavily this week, weren't in the top 20 so we don't know the numbers but somewhere below the Masters which got 58,000

does anyone think ive jumped the gun on this scum bagging piece of artistic brilliance ...cause the Mariners FB page thinks I did
Technically yes but who cares, as long as you can wear the egg if all hell breaks loose next weekend.

Draws by AU and Jets and a heavy loss (we've lost 3-0 both times to MV) are not impossible

But really it's all about the fun of the night, will either set of fans care next week? It was all about humiliating them on Sunday

I hate premature ejaculations. Last time I had one was at Suncorp during the Grand Final, and look what happened. I'll save my bragging until we've actually dodged the spoon.

Well...Eggy and Prior were both celebrating with 15 minutes to go on Sunday evening and I told Eggy not to get too excited like he did at the GF...but this Jest squad is the polar opposite of the spectrum to that Roar side.

Adelaide MAY get a result against WSW this weekend, but as far as I can see, the only way the Jest are getting a result against an SFC team at home (and keen to usurp that same Roar side as the highest point scorers in League history) is through match-fixing.

Suncorp ? Grand Final?

You've gone mad

I'm sure I was not the only one who prematurely was celebrating a Grand Final win in Brisbane, 2-0 up with minutes to go, only to see us lose. Worst experience ever, after our other Grand Final loss to the Scum.

I'll never forget the sound of that crowd when the second goal went in.

. i have faith that there is enough Central Coast in that Southern Mariners side to ensure that they don't effect our position on the table

Its not inevitable.
Exactly. At this level results are mostly mental strength. You can't tell me Roarcelona were x amount better than everyone else. As soon as they broke the record they lost to Sydney iirc.

At any rate, we can hold our own against anyone in the league. Its the size of the fight in the dog that counts.
We need a coach to bring that out.

. interesting thought considering the thread this was posted in and the posts being made elsewhere on the forum

. on the weekend it was the captain that brought it out ... especially considering the result of the week before when he was absent

Could also put it that the coach got it out of the players, by putting Monty straight back in the team:D
