ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Millar shouldn’t even be named for this week nevermind start. How can he possibly be hungry enough and fight enough knowing he will be there at the end of the season? Is he willing to crunch a future senior team mate in a hard tackle? My guess is no.

To be honest there were a couple of times I wasn’t sure who was supposed to be right back. Melling didn’t seem to get a lot of support but where I was sitting made it tough to get a good look at that side.

Melling at Right Back.

Mulvey should look back at that and realise somehow, somewhere, he got very lost along the way,

It was part way through the second half, probably about the time of a substitution that I noticed Melling had gone to right back.
Looking around for Millar I realised he'd gone up front.
I wrote earlier that the boys on Coast FM said that any coach who plays Melling at right back is not A league standard.

Yeah I realised that’s where he was supposed to be but the structure didn’t seem to be working. Not to mention playing a back 3 with someone unfamiliar with the role and then not supporting them is a dangerous move nevermind doing it against an attack as good as the Nix.

If Rowles is back surely it will be Aspro or Graham. Probably Aspro since he slid over last time afaik. Even without Rowles if we stuck with the back 3 it’s got to be Clisby Aspro and Graham

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not and I can't be bothered reading through 12 pages about a match I'd rather forget, but I'd like to point out that Kennedy didn't face any shots in the warm up as far as I saw. Once the players started having shots, Kennedy disappeared with Matt Nash to near the corner flag and did some easy drill, then he stood around, hunched over and looking gassed for a few minutes before retreating to the dressing room before everyone else.
