We started the season with one RB McGing (converted CM and Millar) and then let him go mid season?? Playing Melling as a RB was pure folly.
Starting the season without a specailist RB was pure folly.

I think Mcging at RB was ok (not ideal but ok) within a salary capped league. Didn’t look worse than a bunch of others playing in better teams. BUT if you’re saving cap money in one position you should be able to see where it’s going in others, that’s the difference between us and those further up the table. Even without marquees its really hard to see where we are spending our money. Look at Perth they only have 1 marquee at the moment! Victory have maintained a high position even without Honda and Toivonen for stretches, sometimes at the same time. Niedermeier too.

Still a bit worried about who gave him the job.
He had baggage at Gold coast,baggage with Melb vic girls and told to leave the roar when they found out all the rmours were true.
Where was due diligence on behalf of CCM, but he did offer his services for pittance and Charlesworth thought he got a bargain.
Remember the fake court case mulvey was having against the roar.
Gift of the gab maybe but his reply to tara rushton on fox about the welsh rugby coach didnt fool anyone.

He has some bad luck sure, and I could forgive him getting weemac and even Cisse so wrong. But not being able to recognise that Kennedy must go at all costs. Tom must be re-signed at all costs. That Hoole is a useless wage thief. Players who sign for your hated rival must be dropped. Kekeris is twice the player Hoole is. Just when some understanding develops brings in English Youth and Jem and though they have some quality, it shattered any momentum and cohesion... etc... etc...

We must have better.

well.....if he was appointed and actually brought some decent Indian players with him, I'm fairly sure our crowds would get an upturn from the many southern Indian's around Sydney/Hornsby who follow football....and there are lots. that alone has to be a positive for Charlesworth.
Lets hope he CAN really coach after our long list of failures.
