ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If players are listed as injured they could still get covid or test positive to covid and count towards the amount needed to call of a game?

Does anyone know if they need a PCR result to qualify as covid positive for the sake of calling off a match surely?

Injured: Luke Brattan, Michael Zullo, Connor O'Toole, Kosta Barbarouses, Chris Zuvela, Adam Le Fondre, Calem Nieuwenhof

Covid: Patrick Wood

Unavailable: Joel King, Andrew Redmayne, Rhyan Grant

Evidence?
Early in the pandemic it was thought that those who survived SARS were immune to Covid and a group were looking to find Cars survivors to see if this were true. Nothing more has been heard.

Update: With a bit more seating I have found reports that some research coming out of China suggests that an infection of SARS followed by vaccination against Covid 19 provides very good coverage against omicron.
Vaccination is more effective providing protection against different variants.
ie vaccination will provide protection against Omicron, Delta, and the original Wuhan form. An infection of Omicron will provide protection against Omicron but not against other variants.

Wow that's 11 unavailable, pretty easy team selection.

It is really Ancient. If you caught SARS before then apparently you don't catch this variant.

SARS is not flu.
Both SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and SARS-Covid-19 are diseases caused by a coronavirus.
Flu is caused by an influenza virus.
Influenza and corona are viruses that both attack the respiratory system as do many other viruses. They are not related.

Corica was complaining bitterly about having 3 Socceroos unavailable and not being able to postpone. Perhaps the APL have put their foot done on games being postponed.
Yeah was complaining last year that was enough to get the game postponed but not this season. I think covid would be a reason as we have to many games that need to be made up.

One of the players mentioned by @pjennings also had covid but that was only two in total. The game is absolutely on and SFC coach isn’t happy but tough

Yeah we dont have that luxury right now. Sure Sydney have played 9 but it screws us having only played 6 and will go a further round behind next weekend due to the cup final. Needs to learn not everything is about him.

After having played and beaten Sydney what feels like a couple hundred times this season, you start feeling like it should be their turn. And yet… I still think we’ll just roll them again.

Lots of closeups of losing Steves face please Paramount. Those are hilarious.
