ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners v Lightning and Spirit FC

good to see Boogs and Heff back, Boogs should stabilise the back 4, Heff might have a few cobwebs still from the injury but the earlier they are dusted off the better. Why is Villazon left out if he was good last week?

Yeah 2-5 the final score.

Spirit 2 (Daniel Cunningham 50' pen, Paul Orgad 70') lost to Central Coast Mariners 5 (Dylan MacAllister 10', 81', Brown? 15', Brad Porter 20', Sasho Petrovski 80')

Young D'Apuzzo and Nathan Sherlock did well while on.

Ben Coonan will post a full report on Mariners site later.

Youth game quite good - score I think 5-3
Our no 10 looked good, but lack of cohesion, esp. at back while Spirit 9 rounds into season showed.

I though Clarke,Brown and Porter were very good as was Dylan.Very dificult to gauge anything other than current fitness levels ground was wet and a little bumpy.
Those who have said Elrich is struggling or whatever about his weight, he looked sharp enough for me at this early stage and with decent support he was freed up a few times to run at defenders and put many crosses in.
Had a quick chat to Mrdja on the way out and hes feeling really confident he will be right to go come the season, so I for one am hoping he does as with a potential front line with Dylan,Sash and matty knocking them in we will be spoiled for choice hopefully.
