ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So that's it then. Thank God for that. Put out of our misery for this season.

From the article....“To get so close to completing the competition, only to pull up a few weeks short, has been heartbreaking for the players, clubs and fans.

No, it's not heartbreaking. It's a f**king relief it's over for this season.
Instead of watching the Mariners I can watch a film or something, have a beer and ENJOY watching it.
AND.....we might not officially be awarded the wooden spoon :overheadl:

This is exactly what I meant the other day when I said I am more hopeful with James Johnson and the Coronavirus than with David Gallop and no Coronavirus.

We don't know what the sporting landscape will look like after the current problems finish. NRL in particular I think will be in real strife as there are a number of clubs not paying their way now even with the media deal money.

Mike's comment '“But, bizarrely, I do think the future is really quite good because there’s an opportunity, finally, to get all the stakeholders together to reboot, reset and recalibrate the whole football economy.' is really along the lines of what James Johnson said the other day.

We all know the current model is not working. As all football has stopped now Johnson, the FFA and the iHAL and the State Associations can 're-imagine' a new football landscape.

Refuses to pay staff who have done so much for him without basic award conditions like meal breaks, over time being paid proper wages etc etc
They did it because they bleed yellow and blue

He is a dog and represents everything bad about free market capitalism
