ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No arguments here - as long as Barnsley finish 21st or higher my housemates don't care. ;D

P.S. They jacked up the price from 19 to 26 quid for that game... do many teams here do that for their "bigger" games??

We used to do it for the bigger European games (when we were good that is)......but the club ran a voucher system where if you were at the 2 or 3 home games before the big game you got a discount bringing the price back to normal.

Only the part timers and glory hunters had to fork out extra.

Pretty well all of them, Fulham do - fleece the glory hunters but Season ticket holders get it at usual price

Funnily enough United don't - hence my confusion.

Still, there was a full house at Oakwell (minus the required segregation) so I guess people don't mind??

Newcastle back on top after beating Preston NE 1-0 at Deepdale through Kevin Nolen on 74 mins.

I was hoping preston would win so West Brom stayed on top.

It looks like Newcastle and West Brom might start running away with it if they can keep their form going, both of them have been sitting top two almost all season and a gap is starting to appear as well

Barnsley's game at Plymouth abandoned in the 58th minute when they were leading 4-1 due to torrential rain.

Much to the chagrin of my housemates, they won't count and the game will have to be replayed.

3-0 over Swansea means we still lead the league over West Brom by two points and 3rd is 8 points behind. Come on Xmas and more points. Maybe a cup run and secure promotion.

Newcastle lead 2-0 away at Coventry 10 mins left. Ameobi and Ranger the goal scorers. 7 straight wins first time since 1996 when we beat in that run Man Utd 5-0 in that famous game at ST James Park.

Newcastle now 7 points clear close to the half way point. Could we finally win a title?

Bring on Barnsley on Saturday.
