ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Is there any footage? I'd love to see some of his goals
Not that I'm aware of mate, I believe it was behind closed doors. It was the one that we won 3-0 in normal time and 5-0 in an extra 30 mins tacked on to give other players some game time.

If we squander these last 2 games in hand and find ourselves dropping out of the top 6, I would love to see us bulk the midfield and go for it. Press better like the first few games and have both strikers up front rather than one dropping back to receive the ball. 3-5-2 may be our strongest play to stop teams before they get to far up the pitch.

I’m all for flexible tactic’s!
That’s not a bad line up at all. Would be very competitive.
There’s no doubt that the 442 has is many flaws in the modern game.
We’re constantly overrun in central midfield which can be frustrating and would be more so if it was purely down to effort and fitness that we don’t get caught out more there.
But against a team like Sydney who use 2 holders and 2 10’s they killed us and the general fatigue didn’t help. I’d have like to see Monty be more flexible by now, it’s really the only blemish on Monty I can think of (and it’s not a big one!)
