ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm working at Darling Harbour this week and they have bays for electric cars to park close to the lifts and with free recharge of your battery. There is not one single electric car in those bays Middy! Your 10 plan might be a tad optimistic.
It is now possible to drive an electric car all the way from Cairns to Coolangatta, snubbing $1.50 a litre petrol, with the Palaszczuk government's east coast network of charging stations all but complete.

Electric charging at the stations will be free for the first 12 months before fees are introduced, bringing the cost to charge an average car to about $45.

Fox who used to be one of his major critics have come around.. Now they are behind him.

His new Roadster 100 K in 1.9 seconds 160 K in 4 seconds top speed 250 miles per hour I think thats bout 400 Kl and can travel obver 1, 000 Kls on a single charge...

Worth watching ... a couple of vids from Fox Business formerly who used to pan him...the second vid in particular .. when I win lotto I am gonna buy one of these...

Fox News is the standard of Playschool......and that's being harsh on big Ted!

The truck looked like a graphic from Thomas the Tank engine.

Is it possible to ask MC, his plans for the next two years... especially about spending on players...and then report on what his position is.
Hi MC, Mike is very keen to know the final position of FIFA before he will make commitments good or bad as far as investment in to the HAL playing roster. However he did spend a lot of time getting to know the inner workings of our Academy and where the opportunities lie within. We are working on a strong strategic plan for the Academy to accelerate and increase the players coming through the system that can thrive in HAL or greater.

Well so far all his commitments have been bad so the fact that he is even talking about good commitment..i.e..spending the same as every other club in the League is a positive of sorts.

Whether you like him or not, any commitment is good. The club arguably wouldn't be here today without his investment in 2013.

Thanks again, Shaun. I hope you have noticed that despite all the angst everyone very much appreciates the quality, hard work yourself and the staff have done on behalf of the club, consistently. On behalf of everyone here I'd like to say thank you.

Question - do we have any, even vague, timeframes on when we might see some resolution to the final position of FIFA? It seems a lot is (justifiably) up in the air until then. For CCM particularly, but also the league overall.
Cheers

No one questions the excellent work Shaun and DDTMM and others have done.
Unfortunately Pikey has hamstrung us again and Paul is still learning his trade with a best mate (assistant)
without much pedigree.
Consequently it been another unpleasant season.
But he live in hope that Pikey will finally invest properly or divest himself of us to a serious player.

^This.
If a serious player can be found........

First we wait for the new TV deal and now we wait for FIFA.
Are we going to wait so long there is no one left?

I wonder does MC have the intention to bring in someone to do a bottom up restructure of the academy such as Barcelona did to ensure a consistent and long term development of players for the club? It's a nice idea to plan using the academy more heavily than others but unless the scouting and coaching are done right it's irrelevant.
After all didn't Celtic once have the chance to sign a 14yo kid named L. Messi but they passed?

Needlessly hoping for another benefactor is so utterly pointless unless you actually have a bill or so spare yourself, or know someone who does (and who is willing to buy him out).

I'd prefer to have hope rather than keeping bending over as you and other apologists would have us do and apologise if I yelped too much FFS.
