ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Vedran Puljic was a member of Horde Zla, Sarajevo. They went to Siroki Brijeg for away match. There was riot in town, and its said he was shot by police. Four other supporters was injured, one operated in hospital and still fight for his life.

Its not confirmed that police shot him, but this photo should prove it, you can see the cops on one side and Vedran on the other side.

what has it got to do with the other hundreds of groups who did similar banners?

you've got groups who are at least as focussed on fighting as they are on support, who start riots and who quite understandably come under pretty close attention from police, stadium authorities etc. the groups seem to expect to be allowed to operate as a law unto themselves. it's bollocks.

horze zla have a rap sheet including stabbings and and riots (not least attacking of the goalkeeper of a rival club *on the field* FFS! talk about cowardly!) - what sympathy should i have for one of theirs who cops some of his own? ridiculous.

Nobody was asking for your sympathy.. None of us on here commented on the death of him - zycie's post was cut from ultras tifo and was just posting the image as it falls under the 'Australian Supporter Scene' topic.

Adz, I think banners that are deemed offensive/political etc are banned so they would have to be smuggled in.

Discussing such banners on a forum might be counter productive

why let the opposition know what we are planning to do for a pre-match display?? would take the surprise factor completley out of it ;)

using the squadrons tifo GF display as an example. Don't you think that it would have vastly cheapened the display?? we would have all known what was coming etc.. keeping it a secret made it special and when it went up everyone was kinda shocked (including jets fans who also had no idea about the pull-over)..
its simple really- you dont broadcast your tifo displays on a public forum ;)

Their chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

Every now and then you get one you can't copy like......"there's only one United and that's a f**kin biscuit" !

Not sure if you got United biscuits here in the 80's.

I think, considering todays' events, there will only be three of them there to worry about when we play them again!
