USA are playing some good football and Spain were disappointing. It would be interesting to see how USA go at the World Cup next year. If they get a soft group with only 1 European team they could reach R16 and or Qtrs.

Kareem's gone missing 

That USA v Spain game is a perfect example of why this game is great.

Much as I like to watch silky football, imo there is nothing like seeing a team of underdogs stick it up a more talented side.

You cant use this game to say that USA outclassed Egypt though...

Spain vs USA highlights = 10 chances for Spain to USA's 6
natural considering Spain trailled for more than half the game- but still compare that to Egypt (who also trailed for half the game)

10 vs 2 (maybe 3)(didnt watch highlights, but cant imagine us having more than that)

is better mentality than teams such as Egypt, Spain, Netherlands etc.


USA need to back this up with strong WC showing IMO.
And as much as I hate the US...I kind of hope for their sakes they pull out a miracle and do decent in the World Cup, because the expectations after this will be there for sure.
Just go on youtube, soccernet, goal.com etc.
Their fans think they are the greatest
If they fail at the World Cup, I hate to think of ramifications


I think loss is positive for Spain.

And no I am not happy that USA beat Spain.
Sure unless another miracle occurs, the 2 teams we lost to will be contesting the final.
But Spain are a more entertaining side (although that was the most attractive USA i have seen before).


Oh and will be very interesting to see how USA go without Bradley Jr...I really rate him
