I think a point is fair or even a bit lucky, Victory took their foot off there and paid for it much the same as we have before. Improved final 15 or 20 whatever it was. Muller offered more than Cy, that much is pretty clear.

No injury time implosion was nice,

Nizzy was immense at the end of that one in particular! Smith put in decent balls and bayliss offered width despite not chasing balls. Birra was out MOM and with the penalty could have had a win despite the performance. Lots of them need a break from the looks of it and our first touch was poor. Onwards and upwards!

Cy is going well. Our wingers have been swapping sides every game at times.

Were you at the game Ancient? Cy was dreadful. Slow. No ambition. Offers almost nothing to our attack and gave the ball away 4 times in the first half.

I missed first 40 minutes due to work but watched the rest on Paramount.Not a great performance but a precious point .Nisbet did come to life in last 15 minutes but looked below par for the first 30 minutes of the second half..

Farrell is young and showing inexperience and a loss of confidence in attack.Urena was very slow and his passing was dreadful.Rowles is a rock and Birraz a star.

But was much improved in the second. Drop him at your peril. we’d only get worse. Even in his shit games he still contributes more than most in attack and when we’ve taken him off early our attack has literally disappeared,

Horror game by his standards. Yet, still should have won us a pen and gets an assist.

We dominated large spells and were more than good enough for our point. Reasonable to have hoped for 3.

Hall blunders uncharacteristically.
Our Pen overlooked.
We scored from open play after 20 minutes of total dominance,

Coverage is limited, TV doesn’t show you how often he kills the play, is uninvolved or doesn’t do his job and track back.

it just shows you in close when he links for the odd pass and turns well. total pretender as far as I’m concerned.

Agree Mueller is not a winger, but at least he knows how to attack and can get himself on the sheet,

Ok here it comes.
The obvious problem, Cummings and Urena do not work together as two up font.
Urena is one of the best we have had but if I had not seen him last year I would be calling him rubbish. That is not so but as FP states, drop him at your peril.
I am about to put myself in peril, as something needs to change.
Cummings is the closest thing we have had to a true striker since McBreen and even he played as a #10.
Cummings plays off the last shoulder and needs balls played in behind to run onto.
We seem not to be able to do with out two dams playing as defenders so it is time to play a real AM providing for Cummings.
Keep the same back 4 and Nizz and Ollie as DMs.
Play anybody as a RW (even Marco) with Cy or Muller as the AM. Both have the skills but are not wingers. Muller may have been but is now too old and does not get back enough.
Alternately, move Ballard into DM and move either Nizz or Ollie up. Either have the skills.
You can still call it 4 4 2 but it will really be 4 4 1 1.
Not a massive formation shift.

FFS we have quality up front but it is not working.
