ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Central Coast Mariners V Melbourne Victory

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
SO…I got hold of the stats from the last three games , divided them by 4 , then multiplied them by montys age and came to the conclusion that we won the last game was because Mrs Recky was watching a bunch of tennis players going after some bloke called Davis and his giant silver cup …so, basically, she’s banned ….#COYY ???????⚽️

Will they under estimate us and maybe rest a few players for the up coming ACL qualifier.
That's a week away shouldnt be any need to rest for that.

One thing I'm not looking forward to is watching their suffocating tactics, I don't think we respond well to those tactics with our weak midfield so probably will be a boring game due to Popa Ball.
If we havent got a plan to deal with that on our third meeting of the season that's a manager problem. Hopefully we've learned some lessons and have a plan. We do seem to bring out the best in them though.

Will be an interesting game, will the win boost our confidence enough to take on a strong team. Will they under estimate us and maybe rest a few players for the up coming ACL qualifier.

Yeah very true. It’s such a simple an effective tactic. Nizzy next to Olly will definitely help,

We are going to need a very strong game plan.

And need to stick to plan.

Wonder if we will sit deep and absorb then counter attack or whether we will try and sit high and fight fire with fire!?

I wouldn’t mind if we even play 4-5-1 to have the extra midfield support in defence then move that f**king ball forwards as a team.

We have not been strong with counter attacking footabll for a while now, we move the ball way to slow or our formation isn't conducive to it. We need a big game from Oli and Niz if we continue with the same set up.

Cy went from not even getting on last game to starting. Still no Moresche.

I'm not confident of seeing it but a midfield 3 of Olly Nizzy and Cy should be very competent at passing out quickly and avoiding the press. Play Urena a little wider and behind Cummings with Beni on the other side. Could work.
