ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Positives:
- I thought we played better than on the weekend
- Beni's got some real ticker and showed some nice intent. Hopefully not a flash in the pan.
- Loved the Smith/Faz combination at the end, want more of it.

That's it, I'll let everyone else tear the "officiating" to shreds, what a joke.

That refereeing was inept, disgraceful, disgusting and intolerable! At best Evans is a football idiot, at worst this behaviour
suggests very dark practices on the part of the officialdom. Either way, it is unacceptable and I do hope we lodge a complaint at the highest level. We cannot stand for this rubbish as a club or community.

The only thing that makes the Adelaide debacle last year worse than this, is then we were clearly the better side and blatantly robbed be ref / VAR. This time, sure if the VAR decisions had gone as I (and the commentary team) saw them, we win 2-1 but probably not a true reflection of the game.

They will let it slide this time I reckon.
No fines will be given, but we won’t get an apology or we were wrong.

Both decisions can be swung as a discussion of how the rules are phrased.

1st pen - Can’t prove he was going to fall although to us it was clear assumption.

2nd pen - Initial call, no pen. Video evidence not sufficient to overturn decision as clear and obvious.

Along with a statement:
“We will always continue to try and improve our video review systems and are in the process of iniatives that will take video review to the next level”

This should be ready for next season.

* Next season comes, everybody has forgotten about said improvements.
Cycle starts again.

He spoke very open and honestly, which they won't like.

Can't blame KGJ - he called Evans over twice to tell him he got it wrong

and that’s where the system is flawed. If another set of eyes with better views and less ego/emotion in the moment tells you it’s wrong or could be then the decision has to be changed. This is the only league in the world that f**ks up VAR literally every match round atleast twice in a big way.
