ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

My daughter has invited her mother and I for dinner tonight, right at match time, so I won't be able to watch. You know the worst thing about that? I have a feeling almost of relief.
Heh I have a similar situation. I will avoid the score and watch our deflating defeat later on though

After a lot of agonising, we have decided to pull the pin on going down on the bus to the game today, as we are so disillusioned with everything that is going on at the club.

It was a hard decision not to support the boys but after 5 difficult seasons and too many false dawns, allied with news that Tommy H is unlikely to be re-signed for next season, I messaged the club to say enough was enough.

As much as it hurts me to say it, I cannot continue to put my energies into supporting the club as much as I have done in the past. Unless our owner finally treats the club and it’s fans with the required level of respect and funds it properly, I don’t see why I should personally continue to pour money in. As some have already said on here, the tipping point has been reached.

Sorry to be so negative but I am so dismayed at where our once proud club has been taken since 2013 that I feel the need to take some form of action and can only hope that MC will finally get the message that his stewardship has been a complete and utter failure on just about every level.

So tarnished is the Mariners brand that even NPL hopefuls will be thinking twice about playing for the club. Even when they do find a diamond in the rough, they somehow manage to allow our fiercest rivals to take that away from us. MM will no doubt find another job somewhere else when time is called but there will be nothing but ongoing suffering for loyal fans, with no end in sight. I for one am tired of waiting for things to change, tired of false dawns, grand plans and reboots. Right now I would settle for some plain old stability and proper investment, where it clearly needs to be made.

Is that really too much to ask in return for buying my membership?

Over to you Mike
I love this post OH. Sums up how I'm feeling exactly.

So the bloke who is arguably the best player in the squad, someone who we could build around for years to come and has clearly made a commitment to the club is shown the bench?

It should surprise me, but it doesn't.

Mulvey just defended Kennedy’s retardation.
“The team need to help him by not letting shots happen”

Disappointed Mcbreen didn’t press him about Tom. But he’s probably just given up caring like a lot of us.

I said it months ago, Mulvey must’ve had hundreds of one night stands in his youth. The bloke can talk his way into anything. Nothing of which has substance.

Anyway.

Fox just had a very subtle dig at Kennedy.

as well as showing we lost a gazillion games away since 2013.
Not to mention the goals let in in that time.
