He can get absolutely stuffed, we're being greedy by asking not to have a bloody 10 game winless streak! Or expecting your team to at least win enough to be ahead of clubs whose coach left a couple days from the start of the season, a club whose management are so incompetent that they can't iron numbers onto jerseys and a club managed by a man who gets drunk the night before a game.

Nope. Not just you BA.

You can see where he is trying to go with the sentiment perhaps. But “greedy” Ivan is when you’ve had a lot of something, but then you want still even more.

CCM fans greedy about winning? Amazing statement.

We’ve been starved for 4 years and now as we demand to be fed you call our emaciated husk greedy?

How about even just a little respite first, and then some renewed hope second - that isn’t then dashed a couple of weeks later. Lot of work to do before we can even hope to get “greedy”.

I’ll tell you what a lot of people are saying greed is Ivan, taking mariners fans ongoing support and money for granted.

It’s insulting to the fans who keep buying back in and arguing for the future of the club and to keep the faith despite the dire years we’ve been through.

Rant over. At the end of the day it’s hopefully just some very poorly chosen words. So here’s my olive branch:

I think you’ve done well with what you have here Ivan, but it’s weak to misdirect this cry for improvement now as being some kind of character flaw. Show some spine and call it out for what it is, despite best efforts we still need more investment to reliably compete - and the fans will back you 100% and I’d say are far more likely to show you some additional patience. But this approach.., boy does it make me want to turn on you.

Thanks fof posting that! I see on Page 60 only Wyong Thai Massage and not East Gosford Thai Massage is advertised. I will fix that tomorrow!

You are not taking it the wrong way - it is insulting!! However, I don't believe it was meant to be. He seems to be trying to be inclusive but it comes across as being a bit of a whinge at the fans.
