ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I will literally never think that.
He wouldn't have changed anything.

You can see the frustration in our team. They've given up.
Do we even have a captain on the field?
Actually he would. We have no speed and no width. Wales and Hoole are slow.

We are attacking with 2 maybe 3 at most vs 6 defenders. Powell to slow

Missing Pains width and speed to.

They are both ordinary but better than Wales and Hoole as wingers

The hardest part about this season sucking is that we're better - but we're not? This team is superior to the one we've fielded in previous seasons, but have just stopped clicking and stopped playing good football. It's tough to watch.

Yeah, but speed and width are simply a means to an end. Pointless when there's no finish to it. He take lots and lots of very quick steps up the side then we lose the ball anyway.

We've got McGing running it into the corner and crossing to nobody. We don't miss Appiah there.

Agree but at least we got over half way

I must say that when your expectation are low it doesn't hurt as much as it did at the start of the season. Please bring on Skapetis and TBT so I can at least see some pace up front. (or continue my disappointment)

Wales not up to it today, looks very fatigued, needs a couple of weeks on the bench. This game is set up for Trent to make an impact off the bench, Hoole has been very poor, missing easy passes and not tracking back at all. Llorente was free because of his lack of tracking.

Definitely lost our mojo compared to early in the season. Our movement and passing are no longer good to watch.

I reckon the halftime speech should be just to down a pint then 'go out there and have fun'.

I'm sure I've seen that exact halftime speech work wonders on some O/35 teams....

Aaaarrrrhhhhh!
"So what's the message in the change rooms at halftime to try to turn it around?"

Jolic: "ooohhh just a but of belief you know..."

Message should've been "GET YOU f**kING SHIT TOGETHER OUT THERE"... enough taking softly, it's time for the big stick.

We're outnumbered something like 5-2 o the attack, Roux puts through a reasonable ball but stands there, doesn't keep moving to take advantage of the space that's opened up behind budgie.

Nice pass by Melling to DDS. I'm yet to be impressed by DDS though.

We appear to be getting better as time goes on. If we can find a way to net one this WSW side is tiring quite quickly.
