Starting 11 look great. De silva and Hoole are playing great in the middle as are the Dutch guys in defense.
Not much to look forward to on the bench.
Cards and injuries could be costly this year.

Well.. Better than last week - surely at some point we'll start hitting the target and get a couple of those calls.
Can't believe Risdon stayed on.

Really deserved that one. Basically, we 'scored' all four goals.
Some really sexy stuff played tonight. Quantum leap from last week. Still not deadly enough up front for all the opportunities on offer.

I'm not unhappy with Brama tonight. He won alot of the 2nd ball stopped a number of wsw play through the middle and got Hiarjei going forward quite a bit. Add in DaSilva and those 3 will just grow and grow throughout the season. Golec much improved on last week. We played much more compact at the back than last week which resulted in both their goals but looked plenty better. Massive jobs for roux and Rose if we continue to play in defence like that.
I think that is 2 points lost.

Really like our attack, the short crisp passes are really good to watch. The ball is moving quickly and is looking fluid.

The major difference apart from quality is having choices. We have DDS and Tom H as options in the middle to then move it out wide and then bring it back in. Last year was straight to wings and put in a cross.

Why we ignored Storm is beyond me. He was cutting back to the top of the box where the whole was. WSW have good strong CB's and the cross across goal is not a good idea against them. The cut back is keeping it away from them and is the open space. 2nd half we didn't do that.

Agreed, Roux seems to be our only wing running player who understands or has the capacity to do the cutback, way more effective.

On another note, does anyone else feel Bingham for Asdrubal is just too big of a playing style switch? They're completely opposite players and after playing 75 minutes of one type I feel it ruins the flow and asks too much of the attack to change mindset

It's hard to be successful with so much against us. So angry with tonight, love our club and proud of the performance but we always have the rough end of the draw. Beath clearly was favouring WSW, we didn't get much. There were 2 clear handballs, the penalty was soft and Hoole's send off was tough. Risdon did far worse on numerous occasions. I cringe at the way Fox see us.....Anyway, much better, we will be a force once it all clicks.
