ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Looks very different to theirs for mine. About as much difference between ours and theirs as between theirs and our earlier stripes.

Our current design is closer to our first stripe design, just with an extra 2 dark stripes thrown in.

I mean, seriously guys. We have the yellow and navy first. We use those colours in stripes first. and somehow we're stealing somebody elses kit???

What. The actual. f***.

I expect this kind of crap from facebook, from the idiots who don't think we've won silverware. Not from here where we should have some proud in our club and what they've done with it.

Have a bit of pride in the fact that we're one of the few clubs to consistently stick to our colours rather than change the club colours.
Didn`t we change from deep yellow to pale yellow last year?

Good lord... I can sort of see whee the Palm Trees thing came from now - looking at the response both here and on Facebook, there's just no way to satisfy everyone, so they just went with the one combination that no-one would like - it's the Solomon approach to kit design... Whoever still buys it is the REAL fan, or something like that ;)

I still think this is close to - if not the - best design we've ever had... But then, I'm also choosing to firmly believe that all of the people on Facebook who seem enthused with one of the washed-out-looking RBK kits, are just subject to nostalgia, because surely noone could have such bad taste?

Alternatively I am led to believe that Rebel sport will also offer heat sealing. I hope this helps.
Asked instore .... they DON'T/ DIDN'T last season !

Rebel palm you off to some guy/business (point you to a sign hanging on the wall) who doesn't have the authentic HAL licensed lettering/#'s (you have to pay a fee to FFA- I know of a business in Sydney who does) plus this guy charges waaay to much for the generic lettering on offer.

I spoke to you personally at the fans day at Pluim prior to the beginning of last season, where you explained that you handed over all the Merch. to Rebel stating that you were sick of having to deal with that side of the business, which i was a bit surprised with
- considering your experience with retailers 'Foot Locker' , but fair enough.

But have to honestly say, in addition to the above name/number situation, coupled with having to physically go to store after waiting/calling months to even get a return phone call about sourcing a blank home jersey from the guy
- who Rebel assigned to manage all the CCM merch, the overall customer experience is pretty poor. :(

Fully aware it's nothing to do with you and CCM, but what's the narrative within clubs/FFA on this issue for fans wanting to go to these games, and having to pay these extortionate fees ???

The ACCC should be involved here. There's nowhere near $9.95 in costs per transaction for Ticketmaster. They've just spanked businesses who charge more than that for credit card transactions, so why on earth do Ticketmaster and Ticketek get to spank us for that sort of thing?

It's probably worth the club making a point in their membership campaigns that not only are you saving money on the face value of tickets by getting memberships, you're saving an absolute bucketload on transaction fees.

Hey guys, we have heard back from Umbro/Rebel and the online shop will have the name and number option once the jerseys are fully available rather than just the pre-sale.
Whilst yes the merchandise program we had been running was an extremely costly and difficult process for a small club I would love nothing more than to regain full control of our merchandise retail operations however the numbers just simply don't stack up for a club like ours at the moment. The revenue generated from the Umbro partnership is far more beneficial for the club than being heavily occupied with stocktakes, shrink, faulty and damaged products, rent, POS systems etc etc when the sales generated are a very long way off from being close to a profitable model with the low margins that are on offer in licensed products at the moment. Trust me it does break my heart right now because retail is in my DNA but it is the long game here and we are expecting that there is a dramatic improvement from last years offering in the retail program. They are already producing womens and kids jerseys which was very much missed last couple seasons.

This is a growing issue in the game, the clubs as you rightly indicated have little or no control here. Interesting that the WSW once again are complaining that our tickets and fees are too high for them. All I can say is that there is plenty of benefits in becoming a member and the reciprocal deal with the jets is a very successful program that helps here. We are working with the Wanderers on some special members only prices to help alleviate the pressure here also.
