ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Roys disinterest worries me more
Good point, do we apply the same standards on Roy? Lawrie has confirmed in the Newcastle Herald that scum have put an offer to Roy and rumour for the past month has been that he is favoured to sign with them.
Interesting to see the squad promo photo on the CCM website for the Adelaide game features Izzo and Ivan.

Well - that's one way of making sure that he won't perform at his best then isn't it? Wtf would you do that for? What exactly would you get out of that?
I mean, by all accounts he's gone any way so he won't be getting picked next season... And bearing in mind that noone's confirmed anything officially yet, on the tiny chance that he isn't actually leaving - that sort of thing certainly wouldn't help anything either.
Exactly, he can't perform at his best with a little negativity around him. I will be letting him know he is letting the fans and club down by going elsewhere.
I'm not saying he's wrong, just disappointed and that maybe a little irrational but I don't care.

Sure there is nothing official but that is up to club to squash and I don't mean after the fact if things go wrong.
If he is picked I'd expect the club to state he has not signed a contract or given a verbal agreement that he will play for AU next season. That doesn't say he won't but that he hasn't so there is room for change.

There is so much talk out there we know it's going to happen.

I'll happily apologise if proven wrong.

I feel I've pushed my beliefs enough and will drop the subject.

Here's hoping who ever plays we win with no controversy.

Roy is not rumoured to just one club, nothing stating we here he has signed here or there. Things have died off there and it appears a contract has been offered wether suitable we will find out.

I read he has the same agent as Maclearn and has been linked to similar clubs as well. Roar WSW

A source told me today that it is unlikely that Roy will be here next season...due to money. He also told me Roy would have had 20 Goals with a proper #10.
He also said we would have made the 6 with an experienced Centre Back.
He also said Paul Okon is a quality coach and reiterated that Paul is many levels above Mossy and Tony who "were out of their depth".
Has been efficient with lack of opportunities.

The wingers have been very poor over recent weeks and most of his goals come from them.
Fab barely touched the ball against Sydney, so hardly surprised he never saw it either. Lack of service makes him look disinterested.

Roy doesn't strike me as the type that can play half arsed but we will see over next couple of weeks.

Posco was pretty poor again against Sydney. We absolutely need an experienced back

What about the wings

Go with Bingers again? He got into some good positions but the guys didn't get there heads up and see him.

Pain has been ordinary lately after a good start to the season, hasn't done anything of note lately. No assists No goals

Trent very similar to Pain.

I'd still go Pain on left and Bingers on right and Trent comes on for who ever is not playing well

But Appiah has been the favourite lately and if could have got his head up and got some crosses in would of had a decent game. Is he being picked for his defensive work?

My mail is that Lawrie is all over him like a cheap suit.
If it's a good #10 he wants not sure the Jets are the team to go to unless they hit the off season hard with the cheque book which is possible as their new owner doesn't seem to mind spending money so far.

As usual, the referee absolutely bottled it.

Surely a free kick to Brisbane, yellow card for McGowan for the love cuddle from behind and a red for Theo for the elbow was the correct decision?

That decision definitely makes it a must win this weekend. Perhaps the FFA could have trialled the video decision system in this game, being as it has very little consequence on the table, other than who will probably pick up the spoon.

One for the match review panel methinks...Perez would second that decision

Your source has been talking to Blind Freddy.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
here's to a resounding draw...i mean win, to the coasties.....as long as BingaZ [assuming he starts] and Conor get some decent service and thus roy, we will snag the 3 here

f**king Kurt Ams again with Shaun Evans for fourth official :-( only positive there is that I don't know who they'll dislike most.
But expect a Roy send off no other cards for anything and a 97th minute pen to whoever is behind at the time...
This could get ugly.

Happy for Ivan, after his last performance he didn't deserve to be dropped.
