He signed the contract, nobody put a gun to his head.

And the fact that even there he only played half the games means Moss's call to not offer him another deal (even on minimum wage) was vindicated.

I don't think he cut him; he simply didn't offer a new contract. Not the same thing at all, and by the looks of things Moss got it right.
