ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

if by noise from 2 different areas you mean chants, songs and cheering coming from bay 23, and nothing but anti hutch, wilko and mckinna comments from bay 1, your spot on. Enjoy bay 1 guys, im sure it will be totally awesome ::)

Not my fault if some of us choose to be honest??  Can only tolerate mediocrity for so long.....

james, aren't you off overseas anyway? i'm not sure whether you're speaking for others, but i was under the impression (possibly mistaken) that you're not going to be here next season in any case.

i've already said in an earlier post why location is completely irrelevant if people don't pull their thumbs out of their arses and offer support for the team rather than stand around slagging off each other, the team, the universe etc.

i'm told we're a joke in some circles, halving the noise we've been making of late would make us only more of a joke, would it not?

when those same people, who are determined to simply pisstake all game, then go off and 'split' because things didn't work out *their* way would lead to some question over why they're there too - are they there for the team or for themselves and their own amusement?

maybe it's time the cancer was cut out. let there be a split. maybe the core group will be stronger for the loss of the toxic, parasitic mass that has polluted it.

I believe this is what he is doing ...

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

Yep.  Doesn't mean I stop caring about what happens here though.  ;)

Far from it.  I would have created a multi and all that rubbish if I was trolling.  (at least I'm told that's how it works, I don't bother trolling, it's a waste of time)

Always a melodrama with metaphors, eh Dibo?

Seems to me from the outside looking in, that a lot of people thought the Marinators were heading for Bay 1 or thereabouts, but when the packages for this season come out, voila!, it's in Bay 23 looking into the sun.

Also Dibo, the numbers may be down in the actual Bay that the Marinators stand in, but there are a lot of people who frequented the Bay 16 area from the first season or two, who have now upgraded to better seats.

So the Marinators have already had a sort of breakaway if you will, when those that wanted to see the game better, or socialise with those who refused to stand with the Marinators, moved away from that GA area over the last few seasons.

Let's hope you are not travelling with that G & G Army dude that runs around with flares - he could get you into a lot of trouble overseas!

when we moved to bay 1 i was sitting at bay 50 and it looked too enclosed it's not as opened as 16. Bay 23 is too close to rival away fans; and who do you think will be louder when SFC or scumcastle come? and don't forget about the sun yes we get it at bay 16 but it's not directly in our eyes. Imo behind goal is the best view you can get.

i didnt see a huge problem with bay 16 in the first place, "randoms" have legs and will follow, we need an enforcer to tell them politly where to go, not whingers! BAY 16 FTW

Yes..... because telling people who want to join in with people in the bay to f**k off is a great recruitment technique....

Is that a serious quote at the end? "behind the goals is the best view you can get"?

Because that is literally the worst place to view a game.

It depends on what JT is looking at I suppose.  :headbutt:

There are lots of reasons to be behind the goals - a good view of the game is not one of them.

like i said imo i like sitting behind the goal' yes the view is not the best so if we wanted to try bay 23 i think it's worth a shot!
