ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. That’s the scary thing isn’t it, how much our expectations and faith in the club have dropped. It’s a busy and critical time with player movements so we can’t afford to have big delays looking for a replacement, either we’ve already done a lot of the work in the background identifying players we’re after and taking to them, someone else like Staj is more heavily involved or they have a candidate ready to go. Anything else risks setting us up for another rubbish season.

To be fair, he was quite successful in his role as TD. Somewhat less successful as a head coach though.
