You are also forgetting the Champions of England were beaten today. Newcastle winning a classic cup tie 4-3.

Absolutely cracking game - a right proper Cup tie.

GutiƩrrez is wasted at Newcastle though. ;)

After Liverpool's shock home defeat to Blackpool, Manager Ian Hollway thanked Roy Hodgson for making his team feel right at home, by fielding 11 donkeys on the pitch!!

United drop 3 points against lowly placed Wigan and City close the gap.

It would be delicious if Utd dropped a couple of more points before the Manchester derby :)

Delicious indeed... What a sensational end to the season, at both ends of the table. City challenging for the title and QPR battling to avoid relegation. Both teams and sets of fans going through 90-odd minutes of absolute torture, and both, ironically, ending in joy. In the case of City, the purest joy there is :). I hope the A-league can have a viable promotion/relegation system one day.

    Well played Manchester City.

Liverpool playing Chelsea on now. Schwarzer in goal for Chelsea.

How good is Brendan Rogers? England are going to ruin his life by making him national team manager

He won't get it, but Tony Pulis would have to go close to being the manager of the year.
