    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. i was complaining this time last year that we weren't seeing much/any snow while we were travelling, but i'm retrospecively very glad that we weren't out in minus 19 temps with train lines (our primary means of inter-city travel) frozen over and whole cities brought to a standstill.

snow's very pretty but it's also a complete pain in the arse at times.

Prose is still Victoriana crap and he was the most famous commentator, not the best.

The guy who did the poverty maps of London had a far greater impact (just cant remember his name)

I type this as I sit in my shorts looking over the beach at Byron its almost 10:00 PM, nice moon not to hot ... last few days in the water almost all day ... lovely warm water ... drifted in some sweep down the beach a few times ...


Keep your snow and cold I love my warm and my beach... and camping drinking cold beer sitting out in the street with a few mates their wifes and kids .... the lucky country ...

Booked a dive today ARrrrrr love my holidays...

30cm of snow thus far (last 6 hours), and another 40cm forecast tonight.

Some frozen water gently falls from the sky and this country descends into chaos.

Hahaha, thankfully not (and never will be) mine.  :p

They actually shut one of the salt mines near here a couple of hours ago 'cause they were worried it was going to be stripped bare, so they're getting in supplies from elsewhere - spread it out more evenly, that sort of thing.

*looks out the window*  AAAAAANNNNNDDD, it's just started again.  ;D

but isn't Fife the Scottish region where Ian Rankins "Inspector Rebus" is from? Never beleived that it really exists...

Correct - he was originally from Fife.
