ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Every time I’ve read an article or tweet like this we play like crap, win the next two and I might start feeling like they are at least trying.

Like Storms article last week about his 100th HAL game, probably the worst game I’ve witnessed him play in his career. Thought your meant to lift for milestone games.

No more words I want action and a team that shows some heart.

I kind of think Hoole can make or break this game.
Which Hoole will turn up? The exciting playmaker (who we did see for a few games), or the Hoole we've seen for the last couple of months?

I've seen Storm play worse. In his hundred games he has been good in 10. Ok in 20. Shite in the other 70. *Official club indicators used.

Sometime I still have moments where I think 'man, how hilarious would it be if we scraped into the top 6 then managed to win the grand final...'

Could win number 4 be on the cards?

Errrmmm Gratis... I think your optimism might be showing. ;)

It's been a pretty serious bloody stint of emptiness from two glass half full guys like us on here. Be nice to have a little upswing.

Good to have players making the right kinds of noises at least.

Oh, and Hoole, thank you. Not a dickhead in my book.

I want to see Skapetis starting.
Agree. But upfront. Not the wing right?

Also as those Nix highlights show and our most recent match. TBT should be considered as a genuine striking option. Unlike Kubi and others, he doesn't just know how to run, he actually makes good well timed runs on breaks (because he knows and trusts his speed so he's not panicked about getting past the last man like some) and he creates scoring opportunities and can score goals.

Said a long time ago that kind of speed up top with someone who can finish even somewhat consistently unlike Kubi, will get you a reasonable percentage of goals. (Seem to remember getting a spray from someone for making this comment though it's just a fact). Saw TBT do it in yoof many times and I think GRA you mentioned to me about his history upfront at school was it his early years as well?

I know TBT can't hold it up, but for a team whose had a serious striker issue for so long, think it's a crying shame we haven't given him a go up there. Again its because that doesn't fit how Okon wanted to play though - but we need a Berisha or a Fornaroli for his way.

Also one of other main issues is that neither Adsrubal or Powell have been able to keep up with our wingers which without a clear option definitely always effects the decision making of the winger with their final ball.

Can't keep up on the break. Can't skin a set defence. Can't shoot from outside the box. About all that's left is poaching and heading...

Hoping Skapetis is the goods. But now Pain is back, I'd like see us use TBT up front as well.

I'd love to see this too. And doubt Paulo would show willingness to also
