the belief that you can't change anything is tantamount to okon ball .murray was a bit of an idea .
the fact it was meet with such outrage .
Is hard to fathom from the club with the spoon

If you had said something like converting Simon into a CB last season I could have agreed and he might even be a half decent CB by now. He’s got the traits to suit that role, although possibly a bit too fiery. But Murray doesn’t make sense to me at all, it’s against his natural instincts and he doesn’t stand out as someone who would make an amazing defender. Why wouldn’t you just develop one of your junior or NPL defenders instead?

You also make it sound so easy yet the league still has plenty of pretty average specialist defenders both starting and on benches without taking in to account a change in roles.

I just agreed with middy .
Josh rose and others prove it can be done .I don't see murray making it as a striker .

iI believe the first suggestion of Murray playing as a RB came from someone posting a 3-5-2 formation with Murray in the RM role, while there would be a fair bit of defensive work to be done, its not quite the same as an out and out RB

For me we need to change the backs/

Murry... Ziggy ... GG .... Rowles...

DM...... Kim & Duric

Wide & Centre... Silvera .... DDS .... Oar

Striker.... Jair....

This was the post. I was assuming it was a mix up and he meant Miller who showed enough to warrant another look when the chance comes up. But then others ran with it so I argued against it. Happy to leave it there.

We have a game in hand peeps (over Victory). Let’s stay positive. Only the VAR has put us down in this position. The last 2 loses were against very good teams and Adelaide’s clinical finishing was top drawer and still we created enough chances to get a draw.

And now we have a striker.
If he plays like he did in the highlights reel things could be looking up.
Hopefully Jair will be able to get on to some of the through balls from midfield.
One especially one in particular the other night.Although more of a cross than a through ball to be fair.
THE NEAR f**kING POST YOU PLONKER.

Next two games will let us know whether we played two red hot teams or whether we are not as good as we think we are.

After that we have a bye and then Sydney away.

Totally agree. And also, missing DDS and Kye is not small for us. Kim’s fitness must be improving. Oar and Silvera have been fantastic. We’ve just signed another forward and Staj is clearly a good coach.

And he knows and actually does head back across the keeper. Why so many fail to do this at this level is beyond me.

Muzz has hardly had a far go at making it , they played him on the FKN wing last year, and then played Simon ahead of him, FFS he was apias golden boot. .he must have some clue

TBF Recky he has had quite alot of chances. He works hard but doesn't quite look up to it at this stage. A professional Brazillian footballer trumps a NPL player. If Jair doesn't take his chances then Jordan will get another crack before too long.

I think the best thing provided Jair is fit enough to go is to have Muzz getting a regular run off the bench and step up in the event of injury or suspension. Take the pressure off himself and try to bag some goals against tired legs to build the confidence and experience. If we’re playing a striker we should be able to give him time in his preferred spot or if needing to replace a wing work on getting him coming in to work with Jair

Murray now has a decent striker to learn from too, surely Matty wasnt really able to teach much, while a great club servant he was never a world beater skill or finishing wise

as I mentioned on here earlier, matty has taught him how to go hard and press defenders. To a fault. He almost looks like he’s forgotten his attacking instincts. His brilliant city effort is a glimpse of how deadly he can be. Hopefully Jair’s technical ability can be of great insight to muzz. As well as his off the ball movements. I genuinely want muzz to be a success for us. He’s such a good bloke but such a rough gemstone right now.
I am also adamant that we need a striker coach.
