ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hamills was actually far worse. Aiden just had the good sense to jump,

It was a much bigger lunge. A much higher lunge. A much later lunge. A two footed lunge. And he could see the player clearly.

Rowles was horrible, but it was clearly an accident as far as I’m concerned,

f**k the commentators.
This is my point exactly.... The attacker identified he was going to lose the ball so he gets out of the way and no one bats an eyelid at Hamils challenge being anything more than a yellow, but because old mate plants his foot right in the path of where Rowley's is committed to going, it's an instant red and worst tackle ever. I'll admit I'm being a bit bias, but I feel u need to take some responsibility in not putting urself there, or else we are going to see attackers throw themselves in front of defending slide tackles looking for contact and everyone's gonna be getting red cards, regardless of if the ball is collected first or not.

So can someone please explain how Rowles tackle is the worst ever when Bridge gets up ,then Remarkably doesn`t leave the field, like every other injured player,
Somethings not right there...unless my eyesight failed me again

That was the most ridiculous moment. Doesn’t work out often at all and is otherwise a waste of a chance. And his penalty was all power as well. I’m glad he scored two but I think the stat flatters him.

The commentators were perhaps overly harsh on him but it was quite bad and really dangerous. Just because it didn’t really hurt him doesn’t mean it wasn’t a very real possibility. Also I don’t think it was bridge, wasn’t it baumjohann?

Wasn’t even close to worst tackle ever
Musc**ts was the worst tackle ever and he probably got Man of the Match
And how about f**king Simon Hill...he must of said 15 times in 2 mins that Kyes was the worst tackle ever ...I tweeted him called a babbling nitwit and to take up greyhound race calling

No, but it did this time. So who cares?
For some reason I just had a feeling it was going in before he hit it. Sometimes a thing you do fails 95% of the time and works 5%. We want strikers to know when to do the 5% thing.

That confused me for a moment given that's my nickname on another forum :p (and was well before Simon returned to us)

The reason I care is it will be used to justify keeping him around, possibly starting because he scored 6 or 7 goals this season. Nevermind that at least 2 were penalties and his goals from open play are few and far between.
Strikers taking the 5% chance is fine but it shouldn’t be their bread and butter.

can't except that rating . played his arse out and did the work of 3 players .
8 easy and MoM
Agreed, I think you will find Melling won the crowd tonight too. I lost count of the number of individual battles that Melling won which were followed by a loud cheer in the stands. I wouldn't be surprised if the neutrals who have no idea how much of a scapegoat he usually is have him pegged as a great player.
