Caceres awesome first thirty but Faded last ten.
Cernak fantastic even after being hacked going well but it's slowed him. Ferriera can't get free. Maybe needs license to switch mere often. Ref is letting them get away with murder - he's hopeless - but it's a great contest,
Anderson is a liability. Eddy needs to take a pill and remember he can actually pass.

Unlucky to concede against the run of play which really have the Reds a shot in the arm.

Big half to come. Credit to Walmsley and players. This side is massively improved. Good decision by the club with Mossy and his most ardent critics look to have been right.

That handball call was bull, especially the yellow off it though...

They were definitely the better team, but I also feel like the boys spent a lot of time being pulled around with the ref just waving play-on... Or was it just me that thought that there was an inordinate amount of time spent on the ground?..

Zelic was almost as painful as the referee, who was almsost as painful as our central defence.

No way Djitte could do that Boogard. We have two big strong CB's, the trade off you accept is their mobility is limited (as is their passing) but Djitte made a total nonsense of their strength. If Anderson was the size of Poscy, no way is he in the HAL. Djitte owned them, and us as a result.

Fitzy is not a false nine, let alone an actual nine. Unfortunately he's not able to contribute there at present.

Caceres movement and positioning still badly lacking second half. But he had a terrific first.

AU were too good in the end, but that ref and our luck as GRA said really hurt us getting ourselves back into the game. Hurt more tonight, because we finally actually look a chance. Four weeks ago, I think that sides beats us by a good few.

Cannot fault the effort shown tonight.

Great first half. Pressing high, attacking and intense football by the yellows. Caceres was THE PLAYER of the first 45 mins. He pounced on Isaias and finished like only players of his calibre can. Once again he showed his class. Second half we didn't have the legs to keep the pressure and AU were in charge but without creating any clear chances. Their second goal was pure luck and we fail to put the only two clear ones we had. Bosnar's header from a beautiful taken free kick by Cass and Rose's shot from outside the box. Zelic's comments after the first half were really pathetic and biased. When it came to Caceres's goal he only talked about the mistake made by the AU's defenders. He never mentioned or gave credit to the mariner's player (Cass) for his great work and wonderful finish. When he talked about Carrusca's equalizer he carried on and on about Carrusca's quality. Well done to our much improved team. No doubts Walmsley has a lot to do with our new positive approach. We would be in the top 6 today if we played like we've done in the last couple of games.
