Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Nix's new Serbian striker, Andrija Kaludjerovic only came on at the 70 min mark against Blacktown City yesterday, so he's one that sounds a looong way off being match fit.

I have no idea what traffic is like from Baulkham Hills, but I was driving to/from Parra up untill some months ago and that was usually fine as long as you don't leave Parra between 16:00 and 17:00 and most of that is down to the traffic around M2/Pennant Hills Road - that's the bit that'll slow you down. The F1 is mostly flowing OK after 17:30 I reckon.

Still going to take you a good 45 minutes+ from Hornsby to Pluim I reckon though, so might be pushing it a bit to get there for kick-off.

very doubtful......Pennant Hills Road and Kariong will kill your timing....

Kariong is no longer an issue but Narara to Lisarow will be heavy. As Rowdy said go via Ourimbah. You will definately make it in time from BH if you left at 5.30pm. Pennant Hills Rd will be easing by then.

Mariners Pre-Season Wrap

It’s been an exciting pre-season for Mariners fans, with Paul Okon having the ability to build his own squad, adding 11 new faces to the club ahead of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 campaign.

Okon’s new recruits are fit, firing and ready for selection at Pluim Park which makes for a great opportunity to see the them in action before round one.

It’s been a successful pre-season for the Mariners so far having played 7 games where the Yellow & Navy have scored 16 goals and conceded only 6. During the 7 games, the Mariners have held 5 clean sheets.

The danger man for the Mariners has been Andrew Hoole, who has bagged 7 goals, including a strike against his old club the Newcastle Jets in a behind closed doors friendly. Our results are as follows:

Central Coast All Stars: 6-0 WIN
Hakoah Sydney City East FC: 1-0 WIN
Australia U23’s: 0-0 DRAW
Newcastle Jets: 2-0 WIN
Blacktown City: 3-2 LOSS
Melbourne City: 3-2 LOSS
China U’22’s: 3-0 WN

What's traffic like on the F3 on a weekday evening? I am leaving Baulkham Hills at 5:30, will I make it to Pluim by 7?
Heavy at entry but always flowing.. As already said you much better getting off at Ourimbah. Kariong can be busy coming down the hill and Narara to Lisarow is now Completely stuffed as Wombat has said.

You looking about 45mins from start of F3 to Pluim via Ourimbah, Penno will be your issue and nobody knows what that road can dish up.

All depends on your driving style, but what ever it is be prepared for someone up the back of you even if you love speed. Even the dick heads get dickheaded. Somehow it all works 90% of the time.
