ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners V Adelaide

Sick of shit topics. Back to football.

I think Arnie has no choice here but to play Amini and Rogic. We must attack. Rogic seems the only player likely to score ATM so Musti to go into DM and Hutch onto the left. Bozanic to the bench. Bernie and Kwas up front.

I think he must start Kwas up front.

Bernie has been much more effective coming off the bench terrorising tired defenders. I think when he starts he tires quicker than the defenders. I hope he is fit.

Mc Breen has not been effective as a striker and although I do not believe in playing people out of position maybe Rogic could start alongside Kwas. He is able to shoot so it may work out. Preferably not Hearfield but possibly Duke as a roughy.

Musti into AM (if fit), replaced by McBreen at 60 min.

Playing Musti at DM is probably far too risky. He has never played there to my knowledge and could get lost. If he plays up it could enhance our attack or could cause confusion with too many forward. It could also expose our defence unless he and Hutch/Bozanic develop a good understanding of covering for each other.

Possibly Hutch on left and Bozanic as DM depends on who fits best with Rosie.

Fitness of players may be the determining factor.

Wonder if it's a typo? Hopefully they are going ahead at the same time.
Will make an exciting afternoon!

There's a short while to recover and soul search, and I wouldn't be surprised if after 15 minutes we're either 2-0 down because bundles have been dropped entirely or we're 2-0 up and snarling like ravenous animals.

Adelaide's HAL season is gone and they play Gamba Osaka on the Tuesday following - their minds should be elsewhere. Brisbane are about to travel for the ACL and have to face a Jets team that needs points to stay in the 6.

With the game on at the same time as the Jets-Roar game and it is conceivable that with a win and either a Roar loss or a draw against the Jets that we can be League Champions by the end the game on the weekend.

Yep. They're simultaneous as well, so people at both grounds will be checking the scores on their phones etc. I just hope the PA announcer is on the ball and announces the scores as they happen in Newcastle. If say, we're up 2-0 and a late winner hits for Newcastle and it goes over the PA, cue pandemonium.

Actually, I hope the FFA are up to speed and if we *do* seal the league at home, they have a presentation ready. Get the navy and yellow confetti guns ready, a nice sponsor backdrop, a Hyundai executive etc.
