It's all very interesting as Roy is one of two confirmed leavers but no one is owning up to signing him. Wonder if Roy is feeling comfortable with his departure.

I think it's already been mentioned but it's not exactly uncommon clubs to hold off on announcing roster changes til their season is done.
Ours is over but - if he's going to WSW or Brissy - the receiving end is still going.
So maybe take it less for granted that he's going to the Jest and wait til other teams are done playing too.
Not to mention that we've had 4 public hols just finish ;-)

Yeah was just thinking what are management doing we he announced on Instagram a couple days ago but as you say public holidays.

So we should expect something this week.

If it is the Jets Laurie can't say yeah we've signed him, that stuff can't come from him. Needs to be via the official release so Laurie's word not worth much (unless wants to be unprofessional, but don't think he'd do that, seems like him and Shaun get on as they should and anything like that would upset us)

WTF is Lawrie thinking!? I mean I rate Roy - I really do - but spending a 10th of your cap on him when you're in much greater need in other areas just seems insane.

I thought that was pretty fair for a 10+ goal scorer. There aren't many of them and you need one to be competitive, especially when Bobo Berisha and Fornaroli are doing it for a truck load more
