ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Spot on PJ, but to further that, if we don’t get things moving very quickly, we will have those 4-5 players arriving right before the season starts, and with limited training time in that first block of games due to short turn arounds, we may not actually get them to gel as a team in that 9 game period either. We need them here ASAP to get any effect from them in the early, busy period of the year.

Tasuku Sekiya arrives tomorrow from Queensland and is likely to play in the game against Phoenix on the weekend.

If we have signed Nahuel Bonanda or Jaden Casella then that is seriously underwhelming. We have let both our Youth team Golden Boots go (1st Grade and Under 20s) and our only senior striker (Matt Simon) picked up a minor injury in the last game.

I seriously hope Staj has a couple of rabbits to pull out of his hat sometime in the next 30 days.

The way the club is talking about bringing in 2 players doesn’t sound like they are referring to those players. But I can see them taking a punt on some visa NPL players with a couple of spots and don’t mind that idea. Only issue is it doesn’t give us that CB we’ve been after but if the money isn’t there what can you do?

Hello, if Sekiya is truly confirmed, then that is fantastic news. That gentleman (& football magician), deserved his shot at the A-League, long ago, since his heroics at APIA Tigers. Certainly a worthy addition to CCM.

Lets hope so Bruv.........we have had alot of NPL players who have wasted a squad spot. Lets hope this fella is a step up.
With foreign NPL players the main barrier is the visa limits in the league. They have to be twice or three times as good as the average NPL graduate because they’re being compared to the leagues other imports rather than average players. If we can get a couple for the right money it might be some smart business for the club.
