ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. You've got a real chip on your shoulder about his stint with the Smurfs. I can understand that I guess but there were some mitigating circumstances around that.
That's not the point. The club let him go, he signed for them.
Imagine the bloke being hurt by being dumped by us and being happy to get one back at those who didnt want him. That's a very petty reason to not give him the send off he deserves.

Pretty much the way I feel. No-one (maybe Hutcho) else comes close to personifying the club for me.

Nothing official, just a general rule of thumb in football. I’ve openly never been the biggest fan of simmo’s football ability but as a man of this club he does deserve a testimonial.
